Cordova Reef Village Resort Cebu

"The room is unique design and inside is very modern looking, however the photo on the wall is not appropriate especially for children. Hotel bus (airport transfer) and boat ride were comfortable because they didn't try to ask any tips like other hotel staff. Also when we reached a small island no sales people came to sell shell necklace or other products so that we could enjoy swimming. Shower in the bath looked very nice however when we try to use it the iron pipe get pulled out of the wall and almost became an accident Hotel staff are kind and helpful.. " - Anonymous

"This hotel should be avoided at all costs. Previous reviews have indicated that it is a very poor choice of hotel, when there are much better hotels on offer in Mactan. This hotel is in a very very isolated part of Mactan. There is absolutly nothing around the hotel area wise. It is at a dead end. The surronding area is extreamily impoverished, and because of its isolation there are no taxis around. As a result you are stranded there. The hotel is very expensive. They know they have a captive audience, and exploit the fact with exhorbitiant prices. The food can only be described as appaling. The restaurant is abysmal, and the comment from the waiter sums up what we felt. The place is like 'an open prison'. Do not go here. stay in central cebu or [other hotels]. " - Timothy Bown

"We were the only guests at the Cordova on a recent trip there. So, we had everything to ourselves and were treated like ROCKSTARS !!! It was wonderful. The staff were lovely and helpful. They had a few services to offer and really looked after us. The only pitfall - some of the prices were very inflated. A massage in Manila cost us 5 times less than it did at the Cordova. Overall everything was great ! Our room was great, the pool was lovely, the restaurant fab ! " - Kelly Skipper

"I really enjoyed my stay at this resort. It was peaceful and relaxing with friendly and attentive staff. Rooms were excellently appointed and the bathroom was fantastic! Food was also great, but the competence of the bar staff left a lot to be desired. Needed some training on what was on their menu and how to make it. How can someone not know how to make a martini??
