arrived late evening in winter to find the family room's heater did not work. We were however given two rooms for the family in replacement. The heaters worked and were needed as it got down to -7 deg that night. One toilet had ahuge broken chunk out of it, the other room's jug leaked, it really needed a good maintenance fix. new paint work a proper clean in the bathrooms. It was however relative to the price we paid, anything newer or closer to town was double the price. It also included our continental breakfasts so was good value for money. A few minutes out of town but a pretty drive and they have regular shuttles.

we stayed here in the summer for a couple of nights. If you are out all day and just want somewhere to sleep then this is an okay hotel. The staff were very friendly and the best thing about the hotel. The decor was very old and outdated, the carpet in our room was awful, the beds were old and soft, and the bathroom was awful. The continental breakfast is not recommended. Apparently this hotel is popular in the winter as it is ideally situated. I think the summer is a different story. The shuttle bus to/from the city was limited and the taxi fare to/from the city to the hotel is quite expensive, there is no public transport. We would not stay here again in the summer months unless there really was nothing else available.

The Coronet Peak Hotel represented very good value for Queenstown. The room was of good standard, and the breakfast was more than we expected for the price we paid. We enjoyed the on-site bowling alley. I would return there.

Was a great place to stay very clean. Staff were ok but did not go to far out of way to help with bookings and stuff as much as others we stayed at.

We were very impresssed with Coronet Peak Hotel Queenstown. The service was excellent, the room a great size - plenty of space and it was well serviced. We would definately go again. The environment was beautiful- nice to be out of Queenstown itself. Spa etc free! We would totally recommend this hotel to others.

David the Manager was informed and helpful - a couple of the Reception staff (non-confident in role?) did not know how to advise us re the use THEIR phone system to allow us to make international calls from the hotel room. Had little knowledge of local services for travellers eg banks, post office, supermarkets etc. Everything was "cool" - no matter how(obviously)apparent things were not.

I would recommend this hotel if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown. It is in a very peaceful location and very scenic. This family run hotel provides very good service in a very friendly manner. The shuttle bus takes you to an from the centre of town in about 10 mins. I enjoyed my stay there very much.

This is a lovely place just out of Queenstown and within easy driving distance. It was a great place to unwind with a soak in the outdoor hot spa bath with a mountain view and when you can hop in the sauna to dry off it gets even better! The staff we extremely friendly and helpful and with a bowling alley in the hotel you will not get bored!

Exceptional Service and nice spacious rooms - they really did make Christmas Very Special - it was a big gamble and it paid of really well. The hotel is not in the heart of town, but the closest to the ski fields which was just super. The warm and friendly service excouraged guests to interact and the staff need a BIG BIG commendation for delivring a spectacular service.

What a Fantastic place to stay. Staff very helpful, nothing was a bother. Very clean & comfortable rooms. Would definately recommend this hotel. 10/10. A special thanks to 2 wonderful reception staff Janelle & Creer ( hopefully I've spelt your name correctly........ what a lovely Aussie girl). Not matter what we asked of these 2 girls it was never too much trouble.

We would certainly use the hotel again though we were unhappy about there being no lift as we were staying on the first floor - accompanied by many heavy bags!

The reason we gave facilities a low rating was because the spa and pool were not usable. The spa was cold and the pool was filthy. When we booked we believes we would have access to bothe those facilities and were even told about thm when we checked in.
