Very friendly host and very willing to share local information to help us with our holiday plans.

We received a warm and friendly welcome at this hotel where the decor has unusual goblin themed wall decorations. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Parking alongside was easy and an there is an excellent pizzaria nearby for a reasonable meal. Breakfast was good and can be taken in the small garden if the weather is suitable. The distance to the centre of Lucca is approx 1k, but the hotel price makes this irrelevant. Tip. Hire bicycles to get around (ask at the hotel). The roads are flat and you can see a lot in a short time.

an unusual and beautiful B & B with the best host (Maurizio) I have ever encountered. This charming place with its attentive host made my stay in Lucca that much more enjoyable. I loved having a claw foot bath tub in my room and the room was large and cool. The only downside is its distance from town (about a 10-15 minute walk) I would highly recommend staying here

La Corte Dei Folletti has fantastic rooms and a very friendly owner. Enjoyed breakfast in the garden. About a 15 minute walk to the entrance of Lucca. Excellent price (47 euros!)/quality.

Fantastic hosts - extremely obliging - 25 minute walk to the city walls of Lucca a bit off putting in the heat - breakfast menu basic. Limited number of local restaurants for evening meals.

A delightful bed and breakfast with many of the amenities of a 3 to 4 star hotel. Maurizio is a an excellent host - nothing too much botherand speaks excellent English. Breakfast (v. adequaye) is in a pleasant gardens complete with frog pool! Good bus service into town nearby - otherwise 15 minutes walk along busy road.

We had a fabulous stay here for 6 days in April. The friendliest service we have had in our several stays in Lucca. We got a fabulous deal on price as well. The unique decor is a great selling point too. None of that bland 'every room the same' feel here. A place with character! Only drawback is the fifteen minute walk from the walls to the hotel, but the location was great for dribving to the East and North without having to go through the busy centre.

We were provided excellent service by Maurizio right from the moment we entered the B+B to the moment we left. The room was extremely clean and welcoming and we highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Luca.

hotel was quite charming and service was attentive, but the location is quite far from city center and railway station and a difficult walk due to narrow sidewalks and uneven surfaces. Best for travellers with a car.

The hotel is really fabulous, however, it is some distance from the centre of the city, and the train station.

This was a lovely little hotel. The owner and his wife were very helpful and friendly. It is a 10 - 15 min walk to the walls of the town and do not forget to walk through the underpass! Lovely hotel -the decor of goblins and faeries is very unusual. The garden is pretty and the rooms are spacious and well above the standard we expected for the price. It is on a main road but it does go quiet at night. It was safe to walk back after a meal out in Lucca.
