Cosco Hotel Hong Kong

Nice, clean relatively spacious rooms (by Hong Kong standards). Good hotel to stay if you just need a place to return to at night to sleep. Being in the Western district of Hong Kong island the location is not the most convenient as there is no MTR stop nearby. But just opposite the hotel is a bus stop where bus 5B takes you to the western end of the island line MTR station (Sheung Wan) within about 10 minutes, and the tram also stops close to the hotel, if you like to take a slower ride along Hong Kong island.

Good, cheap and clean Hotel with easy access to/from the Airport via Express bus. Ok access to the City.

Nice decent hotel, well run. Very 'out of the way' location makes it loose appeal for sightseeing or tourism, but there are good shops and malls nearby.

The hotel is not situated near a Metro station but travelling by tram and bus is cheap and convenient. Internet is free and accessible. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially for Chinese speaking guests. I had to find a doctor at night and received timely advice, which helped. The room is spacious for a single person, complete with a bath. I could comfortably eat in my room , while watching tv in a chair and table. The only trouble I have is in finding a double adaptor for my camera. They wanted a $100 deposit for loaning it. I was able to buy one for $8 at the street market later.

Though far from city, very convinent transport system to reach all places, needs improvement in Ac and Drainage voice control which disturbs night sleep. If looking for cheap accomodation cosco is very good. As I am Indian I was very happy when I was able to found good restaurants near by.

Cosco Hotel Hong Kong provides friendly services. However, native speakers of English or customers who use English to convey their messages may find it difficult to communicate with the receptionists/informationists of the hotel. Regarding the location of the hotel, it is very convenient to walk to the U. of Hong Kong. Moreover, it is very easy to go to the town centre by using tram/bus/taxi services around that area. Bus no. A 10 to the airport passes the hotel every 30 minutes, and the price is reasonable, $HKD 48 for a single ticket. The hotel also provides the Internet access on the ground floor. There are two PC available for the hotel guests only. In sum, it is suitable for visitors who want to save some money for shopping, as the booking rate of the rooms are reasonable. People/tourists who do not care so much about a number of stars for their overnight stays may consider trying the Cosco Hotel for their next trip to Hong Kong.

For travellers or tourist, it is quite good already. Not so expensive and there's a mc donalds near the hotel. You can walk from hotel. Just infront of the hotel, you can ride Tram and in just a few minutes, you're already in Central. You can use the phone in your room and internet in the lobby for free.

Not at all near to MTR but well connected by bus and tram. Its good for its price when compared to other hotels in this range. hotel employees are nice and friendly, interior is good, thanks to Cosco Hotel for the very nice stay

A little out of the way, but a decent price for what it was. The tram stop is perhaps 50 feet from the hotel entrance, and the nearest McDonald's is about 100 yards away. Excellent air conditioning and very quiet surroundings. I would stay here again. The one negative is that the water closet is a little slow in recharging, and the promised free internet access in the lobby was compromised by a virus problem. My advice is not to check your e-mail or do any online banking or purchases from there. Casual surfing is fine.

not so crowded street, 1 min walk to the mall, bus stop is right in front of the hotel. hotel employees are nice, interior is good, except that the bed is hard. but thanks to Cosco Hotel for the very nice stay.

Very friendly staffs but very noisey every early morning. It comes from the other rooms. They can't do anything about it.

Most staff can hardly understand English.I hope they will improve on that because it's a universal language that at least a person must be equipped with.

A bit far from Central and not accessible by the MTR system. As an alternative, you can get to the hotel using the slow but reliable tram that runs through the northern part of HK island. As a bonus, the tram stop is only a stone's throw from the hotel.

Excellent location regarding the airport: take A10 bus directly to the hotel and it will also take you directly back to the airport with HK$40. Lots of choices for bus transportation to the other parts of Hongkong just in front of the hotel. Old slow Tram is always available for Hong Kong island traffic. Luckily, Cosco Hotel has rooms not facing this busy street. The rooms have enough space and they are kept very clean. Promised swimming-pool was not in use in early August heat. Local public swimming-pool within walking distance. Internet worked well. Reception has very efficient personnel. Surrounding Kennedy Town has reasonable, not tourist prices when purchasing goods or eating out - nice small restaurants are plentiful, with even good choices for coffee, e.g. for missing breakfast. Excellent supermarket just withing 100 meters from the hotel.

The tram stops almost in front of the door and is a 10-15 min ride into town so it's a good deal!

Location right on the tram line and free internet are the pluses. I'll use this hotel again. Give it a try.
