Cosmos Hotel Moscow

Excellent place, practical location, easy connections, good price/quality level, recommendable!

Stayed for just one night at low week-end rate. Missing hair-dryer and iron-glider in a standard room. A bit loud environment at night. A lot of restaurants at lobby level. I recommend to order pizza to room that would be the cheapest solution for late dinner. If you are lucky to have front side rooms at highest floors, you may see nice views of Moscow city. Breakfast is a total mess: too crowdy. However the food at breakfast is satisfactory in general, not excellent. Internet is NOT free.

The personel of the restaurants work their guests in the fast possible time out of their restaurants. In the Chinese restaurant they serve the starter, the soup and the main menu at the same time!!! In the top restaurant (?), level 25, I was out in 30 minutes with a starter and the main menu, wine inclusive. All this for about 3000 roubles. Do they think I will recommend them?

Enjoyed the stay but the breakfast was poor.

I've stayed here twice now. It's not for everyone but suited me. You have to get the subway into town which is fine and there's prosititutes hanging around but they're not aggressive. Rooms are very clean. I did see the staff being abrupt with other people but always to me they were very nice. This venue is probably best for mixed groups and single men. Don't take the wife or kids.

It has improved a lot since the last time I stayed there in 1992. The location is great for me and for the tourist it is only a short metro ride into the center.

The hotel has been extensively renovated and is a good deal for the price, considering the stratospheric hotel prices in Moscow. The breakfast buffet, included in the price, is fabulous.

If you've not stayed in a huge hotel before this is one to try. Cosmos is located in a green part of the city, very close to a metro station from where all areas of the city can be reached for about 30p. Security is very good as is the extensive buffet breakfast. I'd recommend eating out in Moscow rather than taking the easy and somewhat overly-priced option.

Check in formalities / Reception desk need a complete overhaul, totally inefficient for such a big hotel.

1. Swimmingpool should be for free 2. Bills of the bars and/or restaurant had to be paid in cash, why not on the bill of the room? 3. The service for tickets for theatre is very good. We enjoyed!

- All services along the hotel must be paid cash. - The level of the food in the different restaurants is very poor. - The attention or kindness of the staff is "suficient".

Conveniently located near exhibition centre and 20 minutes from down town area. Good selection of bars and restaurants if you prefer to stay at hotel in evenings

This is a big hotel, and the lobby can be very crowded at times, which puts one in mind of a railway station rather than a hotel. The same goes for the breakfast restaurant. Very friendly service though!

The huge hotel. Many guests. If you like quiet place it is not for you. Restaurants and bars inside are rather expensive.

The location is quite far from the centre of Moscow, but it has good facilities, including gym and swimming pool. The in-house entertainment is good, and you should have a good time there, if you don't want to search around the city during the evening time. All in all, good value for money!
