Costabella Hotel Girona

Good travlinghotel,excellent breakfast

Clean and nicely decorated room, good value, walking distance to the centre. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the costabella hotel recently. location was good with a 15 min walk to the centre of the old town,.Hotel was very clean etc, however the reception staff were surly and rude to say the least and had limited english, when it came to discussing varous issues.

A very modern,clean hotel and the service was 1st class. The buffet breakfast was second to none

Enjoyed a very pleasant 4 days at this hotel. Although on a busy street, our room had double windows with shutters which kept noise to a minimum. I just wish that hotels would carpet corridors as the noise from cluncking shoes and luggage wheels the problem. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of food avail...hot and cold. Although it is a good 20 min walk to the sights, we had no problem with this morning exercise. No hestations in recommending this hotel.

This is very easy to find..lots of parking. Not in city centre but not too far away to take a long walk to city center. The facilities included a computer for internet access and a game room for anyone's use. Very nice pool and terrace for enjoying the sun, too.

A most enjoyable stay - would go again. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially Ahmed who made us smile.

The Costabella is easy to find - opposite the Josep Trueta Hosptial (no adverse noise from this) and the staff attentive and good English speakers. One of the criteria for choice was the free parking which was ample. The rooms are a decent size and well maintained with air- conditioning which was welcome in the heat of early Sept.The breakfasts are superb - plenty of choice of diferent foods, hot and cold and excellent value for money. The location of the hotel is good- 20 mins stroll the the old town along the main road which is flat( or a bus opposite for those less able). Would recommend this hotel to friends if they were visiting Girona or if we returned.

On the outskirts of town, opposite a hospital, about 15-20 minutes' walk to the centre. Small and friendly hotel with the bonus of a reasonably-sized outdoor pool. Free internet use. Limited food available - the restaurant didn't seem to be operating in the evenings though generously proportioned sandwiches were prepared on request.

Very nice hotel, with excellent location and nice pool.

The service was not reliable. The room arranged was a smoking room instead of non-smoking room, the receptionsit gave wrong infomation about the airport shuttle bus, the booked taxi was not there at early morning.

I thought the Hotel was very good and I will be booking it again.

Good 3 Star Hotel on the outskirts of Girona but with easy access by bus to the center, travelling time about 8 minutes. Small but nice swimming pool and an area to sit and enjoy the sun. Breakfast good but evening buffet not of a great standard at €15 plus tax. The staff are friendly and helpful and the Hotel is recommended.

Booked a twin and double room. The twin room was average size but the double was large. It was very clean with an enjoyable buffet dinner (very good selection) Breakfast was included in the price and again had a very good selection. Jacuzzi and gym with outside pool which was cold in April.

The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the old town of Girona. The room we had was excellent and the breakfast more than adequate. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely use it again.

Met our needs.

The Costabella Hotel Girona is very well run and very clean. The breakfast buffet is good while the evening meal is average. Some nice touches like free internet, free tea all day, DVDs available and seperate large screen TV room for viewing. Overall it is an excellent hotel if a little way out of the city.

We found the staff on reception to be exceptionally helpful when helping with our travel arrangements. Very impressed with the pool.

A great hotel just outside the beautiful town of Girona. We stayed here (without a car) for 3 nights, and spent time travelling to Barcelona (two hours by train) and Figueres (30 mins). Girona itself is a great town, with plenty to see and do. The old medieval town really is an easy 10-15 minute walk from the hotel (unless you're American, I suppose, in which case there is a regular bus-service). We walked to and from the railway station too, which is at the opposite end of town, and that took about 30 minutes. If you want to visit Catalonia and you only have a few days, this location is highly recommended.

We would recommend it to anybody.
