"The hotel room was very pleasantly decorated in a modern style and was generally spacious and comfortable, although the bathroom was a little small. The location is a very short walk from the centre of town, but not so close that it is noisy. We did not use the pool - it seemed quite small and was located quite near to the road, so not v.tranquil, but not sure there was much of an alternative, given the location. My guidebook stated that there was a gymnasium on site, which there was not. Overall, a very good stay and would reccomend the hotel to others." - Rebecca Dodgson

The Hotel Cairns is centrally located just 1 block from the city centre of Cairns and 5 minutes drive from the airport. The hotel is reminiscent of the tropical ' Queenslander' style properties that provides a true experience and tropical ambience. The Award Winning 2006 and 2007 Plantation Restaurant is open 6.00am-9.30am for breakfast daily and 5pm-10pm for dinner Tue-Sat. |

5 minutes from the city centre, bus and rail terminus.
If self driving from the south follow the Bruce Highway into the city, the name of the road then changes to Florence Street. If self driving from the north follow the Captain Cook Highway into the city, the name of road then changes to Sheridan Street and you need to turn left at Florence Street. |
