"We loved everything about this hotel except one thing. We were on the third floor and the noise from the floor above was very annoying. It sounded as if the occupants were moving chairs/furniture across the tiled floor half the night!!! Other than that we really enjoyed it. Was very handy to have laundry facility which was very clean and lots of TV channels to choose from. I would recommend it." - Anonymous

The Hotel Cairns is centrally located just 1 block from the city centre of Cairns and 5 minutes drive from the airport. The hotel is reminiscent of the tropical ' Queenslander' style properties that provides a true experience and tropical ambience. The Award Winning 2006 and 2007 Plantation Restaurant is open 6.00am-9.30am for breakfast daily and 5pm-10pm for dinner Tue-Sat. |

5 minutes from the city centre, bus and rail terminus.
If self driving from the south follow the Bruce Highway into the city, the name of the road then changes to Florence Street. If self driving from the north follow the Captain Cook Highway into the city, the name of road then changes to Sheridan Street and you need to turn left at Florence Street. |
