"Comfortable hotel with very friendly, helpful staff and reasonable prices. Some facilities were slightly dated, but everything was clean and generally in good working order. The layout can be a little bit maze-like in places because it's in a row of old townhouses joined together, but so long as you don't mind a little walking it all adds to the character. Conveniently located within a reasonable strolling distance to Brighton pier and easy drive to from the A23 without having to cross the traffic jams in the centre of Brighton. Hotel description:    The Courtlands Hotel is an elegant Victorian building situated on a tree lined avenue just 2 minutes from the seafront and 5 minutes from a a main line train station. The Courtlands has its own private (32 space) Free Car Park, additional on street parking also available at just £4.00 per day using hotel permit vouchers. We operate a wireless internet connection in the hotel and all our bedrooms are non-smoking. Our award winning restaurant is open everyday for breakfast , lunch and dinner.

Getting there: By Car:
Take M23 and A23 southbound into Brighton, to the seafront, turn right towards Hove.
Follow coast road for approx 1 mile. Turn right into Grand Avenue, go through one set of traffic lights and The Courtlands is on your right.
Car parking: The hotel has a private Car Park at the rear of the hotel. This is FREE of charge to hotel guests.
