The Courtlands Hotel is an elegant Victorian building situated on a tree lined avenue just 2 minutes from the seafront and 5 minutes from a a main line train station. The Courtlands has its own private (32 space) Free Car Park, additional on street parking also available at just 4.50 per day using hotel permit vouchers. We offer FREE WIFI connection throughout the hotel and all our bedrooms are non-smoking. Our award winning restaurant is open everyday for breakfast , lunch and dinner.

Getting there:By Car: Take M23 and A23 southbound into Brighton, to the seafront, turn right towards Hove. Follow coast road for approx 1 mile. Turn right into Grand Avenue, go through one set of traffic lights and The Courtlands is on your right.

Car parking:The hotel has a private Car Park at the rear of the hotel. This is FREE of charge to hotel guests on first come basis. Alternative on street parking available at £6.00 per day using our hotel permit scheme.
Child Policy:Children up to age 2 years are free of charge when sharing with adults. Cots are available on request.
Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel was clean but lift was out of order during our stay. Hotel car park very useful, location for Brighton 30min+ walk mainly level
The hotel is actually in Hove, not Brighton but it's only a 20 minute walk. Hotel was nice, staff all very nice and the room was better than I expected.

Courtlands Hotel is a nice hotel about a 2 minute walk to the seafront. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - rooms were nicely laid out, spacious and the en-suite was clean and tidy. Location wise was good, although is a bit of a walk to the centre of town / the pier etc..... however can be done in 20 minutes and its a nice walk along the sea front. All in all a good hotel and location and would go back again.

Comfortable hotel with very friendly, helpful staff and reasonable prices. Some facilities were slightly dated, but everything was clean and generally in good working order. The layout can be a little bit maze-like in places because it's in a row of old townhouses joined together, but so long as you don't mind a little walking it all adds to the character. Conveniently located within a reasonable strolling distance to Brighton pier and easy drive to from the A23 without having to cross the traffic jams in the centre of Brighton. We'd use it again.
