A friendly family welcome awaits you at the historic Covenanters Inn. Whether you are here for history, whisky or outdoor life, there's something for everyone.
Run by Louise and Douglas Harrison, the Inn is in the small village of Auldearn, 1 mile from Nairn between Inverness and the historic town of Elgin. It is an ideal location from which to explore the Highlands, Moray, Speyside, the Cairngorms and Aberdeenshire. Cawdor and Brodie Castle, Fort George, Culloden Battlefield and the Malt Whisky Trail all just a stones throw away. If you need any help in planning days out, Douglas will be only too pleased to assist.
Renowned for its variety of good food, served in the Kiln Lounge Bar. After eating, why not enjoy a dram at the bar or sit in the conservatory and watch the sunset. The conservatory is the perfect quiet setting for reading, writing your postcards or surfing the Internet.
All 14 bedrooms are ensuite. The Covenanters (ground floor throughout) also has one bedroom that has been fully adapted with disabled facilities.
To comply with the smoking ban that became law in Scotland in March 2006, The Covenanters is non smoking inside the building. There is an outdoor beer garden where guests are allowed to smoke.
Children are well catered for with the indoor Kiddies Cove, outdoor play area and, of course, their own special menu. The big kids also enjoy the pool table and darts.
Douglas, Louise and their daughters look forward to welcoming you!
