Hotel Cram is situated in the heart of Barcelona, in the Eixample area, just 5 minutes walk from the most emblematic streets of the city such as Rambla de Catalunya and the Passeig de Gracia. The hotel maintains its 19th century façade of great architectural interest, in the interior the most outstanding features are the modern decoration and design which is complemented with the latest technological facilities. Hotel Cram was inaugurated in February 2005. The construction of the hotel was carried out by a highly prestigious firm of architects GCA headed by Josep Riu. The architects have respected the old façade of the building and renovated completely the interior.

Getting there:Walking from the hotel among the places of greatest interest is the Rambla de Catalunya and the Passeig de Gracia, as well as Plaça Catalunya and all of the barrio Gotico. Close to the hotel it is possible to see many Antoni Gaudi buildings and modern style architecture in general and also the Antoni Tapies foundation. From the airport, if you come by car, once you get to Barcelona, take Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes until you reach Aribau Street. Then make a left turn and go straight on 3 blocks, where you will find the hotel. There are also other ways to get to the hotel: By taxi takes around 20 minutes. The train takes about 20 minutes and the nearest train station to the hotel is Plaça Catalunya.

The room was ridiculously small and it was impossible to take a shower without flooding the entire bathroom. At some point, the room had not been cleaned at 5:00 p.m. although it had been empty since 10:30 a.m. - we had to ask reception 3 times to get it done. Location is very central though. thank goodness it was a last minute deal because normal rates are outrageous compared to quality!
Very impressed with the hotel's inroom free internet via the plasma tv. Reception was always of great help.Overall am very satisfied!

Very unique and cool design of hotel and room.
YES: Excellent location for sightseeing and shopping, all within walking distance. Room fancy in design but very functional with great lighting system and soundproof walls. Definitely to be recommended! NO: WI-FI not working neither in the room's screen nor on my laptop, staff was unable to fix it.

Very contemporary hotel with great architectural features and lighting.
The bedroom somewhat lived up to the hotel's name - no cat swinging - however, it was perfectly formed - much as is the hotel. Plasmas, touch sensitive lighting by the bed, uber chic furniture and surprisingly friendly staff. Well worth it at the price - nearly as cool as Hotel Omm but half the price.

My stay will definitey be a memorable one. My boyfriend and I stayed there for 5 nights. The hotel was more than I expected. Great design, hi-tech facilities. The location was great, away from all the noise of the main areas but just a 5 minute walk from Playa Catalunya, Las Ramblas,Passeige de Gracia, Rambla Catalunya the University. A classy neighborhood with little tourists, cute cafes and tasty patisseries - and even some excellent restaurants on our block! Hotel staff were really polite and helpful. The double room was a bit smaller than we expected but it was so fantastic that we learned to love the place. The shower - really cool. Plus, for the price we got, we were happy to get a chance to stay at such a great place. The hotel has grand opening prices - and their goal is to raise them in a year or so. We'll certainly be back to the city and would love to stay again at - hopefully in the near future.

Our stay was very enjoyable. Strong points include a perfect location, splendid corner room with balcony, good size of room wit conveniently designed storage,mini bar and room safe, practical and well designed bathroom, friendly staff, good service and functioning wireless internet connection in room. Areas to improve: Serve full breakfast in appropriate dining room, offer some international television channels, offer cable-connected broadband internet with space to sit with chair & computer.
