I booked a deluxe room for my girlfriends birthday. We were upgraded to a refurbished suite. Nice room but noisy on Buckingham Gate. No bath tub. Receptionist forgot to have chocolates on arrival as requested in the booking. Moved to a second room which was overlooking the courtyard. Quieter and with a bath tub but not a suite. Same price. Hotel bar had a tasty menu and good wine list. The Quilon Restaurant was most excellent - great (maybe Michelin starred) food, attentive service, extensive beer list, fine wine list and a very delightful and unexpected birthday gift for the lady.
The crowne plaza is a top quallity hotel. situated very close to buckingham place, and westminster, room was clean and tidy, i can't coment on the breakfast as it was not included in the price charged when booking through hotel clubn and the cost was £20 per person which i thought was a bit expensive.but over all i would reconmend it to any onbody wanting a quiet , quality hotel
Nice hotel close to the tube and Buckingham Palace. The use of a wireless hub in the room was nice too though internet was 9.99 per 24 hours
Excellent hotel. Breakfast pricy but cheap good cafes nearby serving very good food. Near Buckingham Palace and easy walk for other sites in London including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliamnet and London Eye. Near St James and Victoria underground stations and Victoria mainline station for the Gatwick express train.
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good location - nearest underground station is about 15 walk. Good food available in hotel too.
availability of seats in the breakfast room was limited during 7.30 - 8.15h
At £230 per person per night, this is an expensive hotel. Breakfast should be included in such a proce but is, in fact, extra - though good value for money. I asked for an early morning paper but it did not appear.
