A very comfortable room & quiet, great views of N/castle harbor. The dining room was very good, the staff friendly, a nice place to stay.
fantastic food fantastic location.make sure you take a ferry ride
Although it was more than we usually pay for a room we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic and the room was great for entertaining our guests (ie watching the rugby) after enjoying a delicious meal and the view in the restaurant. We look forward to staying again.
very good waterfront position and very quiet , good location as far as getting good meals at a variety of restaurants , only drawback is the length of the passage as nearly all rooms are fronting the water , would stay again , rooms lacked cutlery and plates for eating in the rooms .
The hotel were very accommodationg as we requested an early check-in for a wedding we were attending and they pulled out alls tops to get us into our romms early. Valet parking was excellent and overall the hotel is one I would recommend to anyone heading to Newcastle
This is by far and away one of the best hotels we have stayed at anywhere The service from all the staff was excellent from valet parking through to housekeeping The front desk staff looked after our special requests perfectly and I would recommented this hotel without hesitation
My husband and I had a fantastic stay here, the in-room menu offered 5 star quality food, we were very impressed. Excellent location, super quiet, very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Will definately be back here anytime we go to Newcastle!
Excellent location on the wharf . We received an unsolicited upgrade to the executive level to a suite with harbour views. Can't recommend too highly. Will definetely stay again
could have more choice in the menu and different each day and if possible Halal food will get you more clients. should provide free parking for clients. very good service, staff were proactive to provide exceptional service.
The only problem encountered was our breakfast order came incomplete and mildly incorrect. Asked for english muffins with butter and jam - received jam and cutlery, asked for English Breakfast tea - received Earl Grey, asked for Sun Herald - received Telegraph. When paying $30 approx for breakfast, these little mistakes are quite costly.
Wonderful location with views over the busy harbour. Service was excellent and rooms well appointed and luxurious.
The hotel staff were helpful and the location was good in many ways. There are a number of good bars and restaurants nearby for example and it is near the CBD.
Food in dining room too expensive for what delivered. Room refrigerator not cleared on previous occupant's food and milk. Ventilation in bathroom not sufficient -- room odours. Service people very willing and attentive.
Everything about this hotel is first-class. Service efficient, helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Excellent accommodation, really nice staff and service and made for a great stay in Newcastle, NSW!
The location is great. Loved the restaurant.
Found the staff very friendly, extremely polite and helpful.
Very well furnished. Clean and fantastic views. Staff friendly, obliging and very quick to respond to needs.
This hotel is brilliantly located right on the working Newcastle harbour, with its constant backdrop of fascinating activities. It is also the starting point for a great walk to Nobby's Head and beyond, although only a few minutes from the city centre. The young staff were uniformly friendly, attentive, and helpful. I look forward to going back.
This hotel was located near great restaurants and had a lovely view over the foreshore of Newcastle. We will stay here again when next in Newcastle.
