Its just a 10-minute walk to Ben Thanh market and the shopping centre, a 15-minute walk to Saigon River and 30 minutes to the International Airport by taxi and all recreational areas are nearby the hotel such as the War Museum,Saigon Opera house, Revolutionary and Ho Chi Minh Museums, Unification Palace, Notre dame Church, Main Post Office,Pagodas and China town ( called Cho Lon).

Good value and location. The hotel is older; but it's clean, and the rooms are larger than what you would get in a newer hotel even at a much higher price. We had a room with windows on two sides--giving a sense of the local area. The service was the friendliest we've ever had in five years of visiting HCMC. The staff is very small, with the owner of the hotel and the doorman helping to serve breakfast. The benefit is that they will know you, and you can feel that your valuables, etc. are safe when you're away. When we asked about a different kind of bread, they offered to get it for the next day's breakfast.
Good value for money at central HCMC. Walking distance to BT night market. Staff are friendly.

The hotel operators are friendly folks. They recommended good local cheap eating spots and shopping areas when we were there. Hotel location also commendable. Keep it up!
good location but facilities quite avaerage, rooftop restuarant was poor, bedroom with a window ended up having a window next to the staircase, but the staff were very friendly. probably a lot better equipped rooms in Saigon for the same price
This hotel was in a pretty good area, and close to most attractions.
Basic but clean - fridge and cable tv in room. Breakfast in the upstairs dining room was ok, once again basic but adequate. Staff were friendly and for the price it was a good place to start with for a few days while you find your feet.
Its quite a distance from Ben thanh Market. Its is only 2 minutes walk away from Zen Plaza where you can easily change money & purchase groceries on the basement floor
A small but cosy hotel which has all the basic amenities. The staff there are really friendly and make you feel at home. The lady boss always displays her wide welcoming smile and is able to speak good English. In short, it was a nice place to stay.

The staff can't understand or speak any English,only the front desk staff have enough to get by. We couldn't get anyone in the hotel to understand what soft boiled egg is or even simple boiled eggs. When we ordered hot coffee, we were given iced coffee for breakfast. I think the hotel should have better language skills for their staff to communicate to their guests. Otherwise, the hotel is clean, friendly & safe.

Catholic Church 2 blocks- Zen Plaza supermarket 1/2 block- Ben Thanh market 15min walk. Overall, very good location. Staff very,very friendly.

A cheap but not particularly cheerful hotel, pretty centrally located. My first room was fairly dull - literally - with no window, and luckily after 2 nights I was able to change. I wouldn't be rushing back there 'though.

The Crystal Hotel is a serviceable hotel with an excellent location. The price is fair for what is offered and the people who work there are very friendly and accomodating. It was a great hotel for our needs.
