"For a three-star hotel, one cannot expect much, but what the family-run establishment offers is more than adequate and reminds one more of a country inn! The buffet breakfast is substantial and 'home cooked', and the location is great -- very convenient to the Underground station and cafes and restaurants as well as being a short walk to the town center and the 'Old Town'. From Essen:Take A52 to the end - then drive through the city towards Central railroad station - or take A52 until Breitscheid cross - then A3 towards Köln until Hildener cross - A46 towards Düsseldorf.
