"We had a twin room. It was clean, neat, trendy and new. It is quite small, but adequate. There is a gas stove top, microwave, dishwasher (no washing powder though). Fridge is bigger than a mini bar. There is a little balcony which is good if you want some fresh air. Very secure premises. Building happening next door so is a little noisy during the day, but who is there during the day, with so much to see and do in Melbourne? I am reluctant to give a good review as I don't want the prices to go up!! Stay there if you want to se a show in the theatres. There is a free tram and bus very nearby and a shopping centre with a huge supermarket. There is a small cafe on the ground floor and workers from nearby building sites frequented it during the day. Completed in June 2009, Cube features 52 brand new and beautifully appointed studio apartments, with well-equipped kitchenettes and private ensuite bathrooms. In-room features include a 32" LCD TV, DVD player, Movies on Demand, cable channels and Ipod dock/clock.
Guests can prepare their own meals in their apartment or enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and gourmet meal in the cafe downstairs.
Exploration Lane is a quiet laneway situated between Exhibition and Russell streets, accessible from both La Trobe and Little Lonsdale streets.

BY CAR
If you are driving from the airport, take the Tullamarine Freeway exiting at Flemington Road. The road ends at a roundabout. Take the 2 o’clock exit into Elizabeth St, then turn left up La Trobe St. Exploration Lane is to your right around 100m after Russell St.
BY TAXI
A taxi from the airport to Cube takes 20-25 minutes and costs around AUD$55.00
SKYBUS
The Skybus leaves the airport generally every 15 minutes and
will take you to the Melbourne city terminal at Spencer Street
(no bookings required). On arrival at the terminal, transfer to
a complimentary Skybus Hotel Shuttle, which will take you to
our doorstep. Skybus tickets (adult): $16 one-way, $26 return.
(Skybus Hotel Shuttle operating hours: Monday to Friday: 0600 - 2130, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays: 0730 – 1730)

Reception is open from 6.30am-10pm daily. Guests who wish to check-in outside of opening hours may do so by prior arrangement with Reception staff. Our Resident Manager will welcome you when you arrive. |

The 24 hour car park we recommend is at the Q.V. Shopping Centre - just a five minute walk from Cube. This secure, undercover car park is accessible via Lonsdale, Little Lonsdale or Russell Streets. Daily charges are approximately $32. You are welcome to drop off any large pieces of baggage at Reception before parking your car. |
