"Great Stay! Good Food. Room Service was prompt and the night porter very professional. " - Chris Wood
"Meals are always of good quality. Rooms vary but there seems to be an ongoing refurbishment programme. Staff of whom a gtreat proportion are not British are hard-working and friendly. " - Anonymous
"this hotel is a joke! when you arrive it is as though you have walked into an old peoples home! no offence to those over 80, but it is gutting when you have booked a romantic weekend. potholes fill the driveway - watch your car. the breakfast was very poor and service rude. the four poster bed room was adequate although the toilet paper was like sand paper. you can't see the lines on the tennis court. basically the hotel is so run down, water leaking from walls. holes in the ceiling, flower arrangments old and dusty. And the hotel is in the middle of nowhere - its 16 miles from windermere! so should never be put in this location. Never will return! very disappointed! " - Anonymous
