Consumer Reviews and Rating

"Lovely lodges in the rain forest. Food at restarant was very good, and staff very helpful on wide range of subjects and activities in the area" - Anonymous

"Despite its wonderful surroundings, this was possibly the worst value accommodation I have ever encountered in Australia. The receptionist seemed not to notice our arrival. Our Family cabin which was run down and sparsely furnished, with no chairs or wardrobe. The fridge & tea making facilities were in the same space as the toilet (is this legal?) and the extractor fan was US. There was fruit from overhanging trees falling on the iron roof with loud bangs throughout the night, depriving us of sleep. There were ants crawling under my pillow, not enough towels provided. There were no lights on the path to the restaurant - it was pitch black when we came out, stumbling around to find the way home. The restaurant was very expensive and the quality of the meals indifferent. However, the Irish waiter was cheerful and obliging, and we unexpectedly received a complimentary continental breakfast. But at the special rate of $170/night, overall this was still very poor value." - David Robinson

"The accommodation was good and in a beautiful rainforest setting. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Low point was the restaurant food, which was not worth the prices charged, and the coffee...less said the better." - Lesley Wilson

"The beds were comfortable and the food was excellent. The setting is magnificent and the owner was very helpful. " - Anonymous
