Design is good. Location is good. Breakfast is good.

very friendly and helpful staff. its a long walk to the nearest subway station though. overall, a very comfortable no frills hotel.

The hotel room is very compact for a stay of 2 persons. Other than that, everything is good. I like the free breakfast which provided from the hotel, and the service of the hotel staffs.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Don't be afraid to ask them for any information. They will definitely provide you with assistance with a smile. However, if you are not on a budget, do not get the eonomic room. Its too small whereas the toilet is ridiculously big. But overall, its a good stay.

Small cozy hotel with great service. Everything was so well thought which was very impressive. Rooms were nice and cozy. Breakfast wasnt too bad but the service was excellent! The staff were so friendly and ever ready to help. A little far frm the mrt but taxis were readily available. Thumbs up. Will definitely stay here again!

At first sight, a bit dodgy. In a grotty side street, and the main road out front has extensive construction going on. But inside, delightful. All chrome, glass, and subdued lighting. Staff all spoke excellent English, and gave me maps of the local area showing restaurants, bars, etc. Room small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet pretty good. Only drawback was the 15 minute walk to the nearest MRT. But the weather was cool, and there are lots of shops, markets, and restaurants on the way.

Dandy Daan is an extremely comfortable hotel, design of hotel and room is simply yet welcoming. Staff are also quick to respond to requests and queries. Location of the hotel is about 10 to 15mins walk away from the nearest subway station. Area surrounding hotel is undergoing some construction work (I was there May2010), seemed like it'll go on for quite a while, construction did not create any major noise pollution, but if you're staying in a room with view of the Daan forest park, the construction site is just outside the room window. Other than the rooms with view, the rest of the rooms has got no window.

People are polite and helpful, good location, breakfast is also great... The only downside is that they are always fully booked.... Would definitely stay here again..

The hotel is located not within the service route of all airport express buses. The nearest stop is the Howard palace Hotel about 2 blocks away. Otherwise it could have been much better. Taxi drivers doesn't seem to have a clue of the hotel's location, however this is where the hotel's calling card helps.
