It is a typical Arabian house in the heart of the medina in Marrakech. Dar Tuscia opens the doors to you in family and warming rooms, a small peaceful and softly coloured oasis contrasting with the bustle of the souks that you meet while walking through the narrow streets you find just out the door. The riad can host 12 people, is located around a green patio, ideal place to relax on comfortable sofas and have a cup of tea after a busy day spent in the medina. There is also a hall with the fireplace and the terrace, full of plants and flowers, with deckchairs and a typical beduin tent which creates a particular atmosphere. For your wellbeing you can also have a traditional hammam. FOR RESERVATIONS OF 4 OR MORE NIGHTS WE OFFER TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT AND HAMMAM

Getting there:From the airport take direction Bab Doukala. Arrive in bottom of the parking of the big taxi, behind the bus station of Bab Doukala. Enter from Bab Yacout, take the first on the left and walk straight ahead till the end of the small street. In front of you, after a small square, behind an arc, the wall of the riad, the entrance is behind the corner on the right.

Pleasant welcome,staff friendly enough. Room was dark and chilly despite the air con unit... very poor lighting. Long and narrow room not so comfortable, barely warm enough. No seating to speak of. Would not go there again ...not such a nice room to return to after pounding the souks. Probably better in the spring or summer when the weather and rooms are warmer. I think the price @ £65 per night was rather high for what you get.
Location is within the Medina and difficult to find (best not to arrive at night). The Dar is a beautifully renovated Morrocan home and very peaceful. As a result it does not have all the services a standard hotel has and it is best you do your homework as to attractions, tours etc. Owners very friendly but English not spoken.
