"For someone requiring a bed & shower in Manhattan at a good price I can only recommend the Days Hotel Broadway. Sure, it's a little away from the bright lights but the subway is only a matter of yards from the front door and you can be in most of the places you need to be in 10-20 mins.
Central Park is 7-8 mins walk, then a stroll across the park will have you directly on "Museum Mile".
The hotel itself is simple and unpretentious, the staff were fine, and I had no problems checking out at the ungodly hour of 4.15am. I'd read revues that claimed there were no lifts in this hotel - I'm confused by that as there are two lifts which are clearly not recent additions.
For $50+taxes per night you will not be expecting the Waldorf Astoria, but if you seek good, value-for-money & comfortable accomodation for a short stay in Manhattan I can recommend the Days Hotel Broadway." - David Gridley
"Clean, affordable, friendly and helpful staff. The room was small, but very clean and well equiped. The only con I found was a slow drain, but what can I expect from an older hotel in Manhatan?
I will highly recommend it to anyone . I will book it again if I need to." - Robert Abergel
"The room was clean and very adequate - it had internet access and a fair-sized safe. The lobby is rather old fashioned and the lifts are decidedly crummy and in need of decoration and sprucing up. There is no restaurant but there are lunch counters just round the corner. The hotel is very conveniently located on the upper west side of Manhattan, and very close to a subway stop and three blocks from Central Park." - Anonymous
"I recommend this hotel for any visitor as it is near to the subway ,and u can reach any wher from it" - ahmed moustafa
