Getting there:From Dublin: Take the Naas Road – R110 (signposted The South, M50) At the Red Cow Roundabout take the 2nd Exit onto the N7 (Signposted the South N8,N9) At junction 9 take the left had lane then join motor way N9 (signposted Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow) Continue on the N9 through Carlow until you reach Paulstown Then take the N10 (signposted Kilkenny) On entering Kilkenny Turn left at the Dublin Road Roundabout Continue on to Bennettsbridge Roundabout, and go straight through. You will approach Kilkenny Retail Park on your left, with Woodies DIY Building. Turn left into Retail Park, and drive to the end of the retail park to Days Hotel Kilkenny From Kilkenny Station: Turn left on exiting the train station. At the Dublin Road roundabout turn right on to Bennettsbridge Roundabout, and go straight through. You will approach Kilkenny Retail Park on your left, with Woodies DIY Building. Turn left into Retail Park, and drive to the end of the retail park to Days Hotel Kilkenny

a busy hotel with several coach parties. It was situated quite a way out of town but had plenty of car parking spaces. It was not easy to find. The food was good
Poorly sign posted therefore difficult to find. Woken up late at night by a noisy, druken member of one the several 'stag nights' trying to get into my room and due to his persistent had to be taken away by night porter. We stayed over 3 nights at a weekend, maybe quiter during the week. Staff were pleasant and the food was very good.

Nice hotel. Is a bit far out though. Breakfast was only OK also with a poor enough selection.
I found the Days Hotel a very Friendly Hotel. I had requested a room on the lower floor, as my husband has a broken leg at the moment. The hotel gave me the very first room in the hotel, close to the reception area and the restaurant. They also provided me with a room that had a seat in the shower, which meant my husband could sit and comfortably have a shower. We also had a meal in the hotel that night, the food was delicious, staff very helpful and courteous and very reasonably priced. Overall I was very impressed with this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Great hotel. Modern and well furnished rooms. Good choice of breakfast but you require a taxi into Kilkenny city as the hotel is on the outskirts.
Hard to believe this was a 3 star hotel, service / facilities and cleanliness were second to none. Bathroom a little tight, but otherwise excellent. Would bring own shower gel / shampoo as ones provided not great (I'm fussy ;-p ). Would stay again - great value.
Excellent customer service from the fron desk people including making calls for us to local tours sites, and helping with directions!
Building work outside our room at 7:30AM, not pleased
