De Fierlant Hotel Brussels

This hotel is a great value for a budget traveller.... other then its location ---- everything else was exceptional for us. The room cleanliness and the staff friendliness and helpfulness were supreme. And yes ---- the included Wi-Fi and breakfast do add to the value... If your plan is to visit Brussels and not to spend any time in the hotel's area (realistically there is nothing to see in the area) then your option is a short (300m) walk to the tram #97 and in 20-25min you are directly in the heart of Brussels (Louisse station) ---- I guess there will be not too many other 3-star hotels that could rival this one than... (BWT --- the hotel location is safe ---- it is only completely unatractive and not "touristy"...)

The receptionist was very helpful in providing information for sightseeing in Brussels. The hotel is about 15 minutes walking from the Brussels Midi train station.

Really friendly and helpful staff. clean rooms and acceptable WiFi. The location is not for those who want a town center hotel, but it is good enough with access to everywhere you are likely to want to go. It has good access to the gare du midi and the transport network. There is no restaurant, but a couple of local places to eat and a delivery service suffice if you need food. If I was going back I'd stay here again, just for the friendly service

hotel is a bit away from the center of Brussels and is 10 to 15 min walking from the Midi train terminal. pleasant staff and good breakfast.

Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, went out of their way to assist. Arrived at 11am, check-in is usually not until 2pm but they put us into our room at 11am as it was ready. Clean, with a bath! Breakfast excellent. Not too far from the centre of Brussels. Would definitely stay again.

Pleasant renovated hotel with basic facilities within 15 mins walking distance of Gare du Midi( Eurostar terminal). No evening meal but good recommendations to local basic restaurants. Seems to be on the edge of or just inside the local Arab quarter.

Nightmare journey to find the hotel!!!! No sat nav and Brussels very difficult to navigate. On arrival were welcomed and given all the information we requested with maps to indicate where we would find public transport for the central area. We were also able to purchase bus tickets from the reception desk. Lovely comfy large room, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast included in the price was wonderful. Good choice, helpful staff, pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Older facility that does the job. Staff very helpful in tourist information. Parking a nightmare.

Very clean and excellent hotel - staff were very helpful. Breakfast was of good quality. Only downside was that the area was not good and the street was very noisy at night making it difficult to sleep at times.

Good and quiet location, only a few stops on the tram from Midi. It would be helpful to know tram and bus numbers to access the hotel. Helpful staff.

this is an excellent hotel, which i would recommend to anyone. it is not too far from brussels-midi/zuid railway station. there is a warm, knowledgeable welcome from the friendly staff. the room had quality fittings with everything you would expect, including a luxurious bathroom. the breakfast was wide-ranging and sumptious.

Nice and friendly people on the front desk, free wireless internet connection, the room wasn't small at all... The only con is the location, but that's not a problem in Brussels. We'll definitely get back in the same hotel when visiting Brussels again.

A small bit out from the centre but easy by taxi to get to and from. The staff service was excellent in organising taxis and general information on restaurants nearby. Great value - pricewise on the room. No real complaints.

Good price , very good breakfast ,friendly and helpfull staff. 3 km. from the center but by car and with Navigation system you can see all the tourist atraction.

Very friendly and service-minded hotel. The only problem is its location: it is too far away from the Midi staion and the centre of town.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was light and airy. The bedrooms were quite big and the beds comfy. The buffet breakfast was well stocked and fresh. The hotel is a little way from the centre so either taxis or buses are required, unless you have time and energy for a fair walk. Overall excelent value.

I very recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Brussels. The personnel makes a lot of effort to make your trip easy, explaining about transport, touristic places… As we had some health problems there, they helped us to find all we need. The hotel itself is clean and quite and the rooms are spacious. Thanks to again to the staff.
