"It's very central, in a quiet street. The location of the hotel is only 10 mins walk to the Eiffel Tower. The staff at the reception and the service ladies are very nice and friendly. The only thing negative is that it was smelly in the bedroom. Smell of an old hotel or dampness, not quite sure." - Anonymous
"Huge rooms conveniently located in the 'diplomatic' centre of Paris (right next to the Roumanian embassy). Very safe area, huge breakfast. Nice and friendly staff. A good 'no frills' place for a couple of nights in the French Capital. I have recommended it to my parents." - Damien Marquez
"Generally it was @ a great location, 5 minutes walk from Tour Eiffel and the River and 8 minutes walk from underground station. Small room, average continental breakfast, room could be cleaner, bed is bad. Pricing was pretty good, though." - Szabolcs Peter
"We stayed at the Alma for 4 nights and it was enjoyable, given that this is a No-frills stay. Pros : Room was clean, bathroom was nice. Breakfast was included and was really great to have it. Staff was courteous and helpful - Reception speaks English. Location was very convenient - a supermarket, convenience store, restaurant, pizza very close. Of course, Eiffel Twr is indeed within walking distance. Safe area even late night. Cons : TV was lousy, No English programming at all. Stairs do not have adequate lighting." - Hitesh Dharamshi
