THE HOTEL THE MENDOZA IS LOCATED IN AN AREA FROM THE 16TH CENTURY, JUST WHERE THE CITY WAS FOUNDED. THIS HOTEL HAS BECOME A REFERENCE PLACE IN HISTORICAL DOWNTOWN. ENJOY A UNIQUE RELAX EXPERIENCE IN OUR BEAUTIFUL COLONIAL ARCHITECTURE. THE MENDOZA HOTEL WAS BUILT WHERE THE OLD SANTO DOMINGO´S CONVENT WAS LOCATED, NEXT TO THE SANTA MARIA DE GRACIA CHURCH (1542) THAT WAS THE FIRST METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL.

Everything was great! The hotel was clean, located in the best of locations. Our room was very quiet (we stayesd their for 6 nights.) The service was excellent and the wireless Internet worked the first time - and for the entire 6 nights. We would not stay anywhere else.

Very good hotel in the heart of Guadalajara's historic district. The hotel itself is part of a historic building. The room I was assigned was large, extremely comfortable ans spotlessly clean. Great choice for travelers wishing to be close to the centre of the action and lodged in a hotel that has all the historical flavour of colonial Mexico.
