Far away from the center (15 minutes by bus or tram), but with good transportation. Green and quit suburn.
Fairly compact and breakfast basic but reception staff spoke great English and were extremely helpful.
Staff were very helpful in general and made some excellent recommendations for local restaurants.
I booked a last minute Double room for single use. When I arrived they gave me a single room. After a complain they changed it the next day in a double. Breakfastservice was slow and late Far away from center but quiet.
It is a charming hotel, stylish in a pleasant quartier where you only find italian people. Very, very well decorated. The only inconveninet is that it is a far from teh centre, but you may catch a bus to Termini.
This hotel was a fantastic find. If you are prepared to walk a bit, it offers the perfect balance between being close enough to the tourist hot spots, yet being tranquil enough to get away from it all. Parioli is a beautiful suburb and all aspects of the hotel were perfect. Great value for money!
Although a distance from the city centre (travelling in and out on the 217 autobus was exciting) this is an excellent hotel. Friendly, welcoming and unobtrusive service made my stay superb. I can highly recommend it.
Double room very small, triple very wide with corner bath. Italian service always fair, food very simple but generous and tasty every thing was value for money.
Lovely hotel ideal for those who would prefer to be away form the noise of the city centre. Set in a quiet street close to a few boutiques, banks, a great wine shop and a couple of cafes. Rooms a good size and nicely decorated. Staff very helpful and always smiling. Anything you need at breakfast just ask. La Scala restaurant round the corner is full of locals enjoying a great meal, the highest recommendation a restaurant can have.
Just a good hotel for the price we paid.
Our room was rather small but very pretty and the staff were courteous and efficient. The hotel was alittle further from the centre of Rome than I would have liked but it gave us the opportunity to use the buses which are frequent and cheap (from the Termini). Having said that we walked to the Spanish Steps without difficulty. The Degli Aranci is a very pleasant hotel and I would stay there again.
Very nice staff, english speaking, comfortable beds, not on the metro route, approx 10 euro by taxi from main train station. not expensive for type of hotel even during the Papal funeral.
A beautiful, elegant hotel located in a lovely residential area. It was a bit hard to find, but once you know to catch the 217 bus it is easy. The bus is right at the main train station and it only takes about 15 minutes to get to the hotel. The service was superb and the rooms are beautiful. For those who want to be a little farther from the noise and lights of the centre, it is the perfect place to stay. For those who want to be close to all the action, and don't spend a lot of time in your room, the transportation is handy and included in your underground pass.
Great hotel for visiting "Villa Borhese" and to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Rome. Hotel is situated very close to bus stop and allows the traveller to get an impression of living in a nice Roman residential area. Right close to Swizz embassy. Staff was very professional and friendly. Rooms were wonderful - modern (wooden floors) but yet with a touch of old fashioned grandeur, big, light, big bathroom. There were oranges on the tree in the garden!!! Would come again!
