Excellent location, just 50 meters from subway: you get to the city centre in a few minutes' time. Free parking facilities night and day just in front of the entrance. Friendly and helpful staff.
Hotel is conveniently located 150 meters from Famagosta metro station in a residential neighborhood. Rooms were clean and spacious. Lots of electrical outlets for ipod, laptop, etc. Service was good and friendly. Overall a highly recommended hotel.
People in the reception not very friendly.
The hotel was a good 30 minute walk and we are relatively fit in our 30's. Breakfast was basic continental style. We booked a double room to find that they had allocated us with a twin room but on questioning reception they immediately changed it to a double bed made up of 2 single beds pushed together. The older man on reception was very miserable and asking him for anything was too much effort for him. The surrounding area of the hotel is residential blocks of flats and graffiti everywhere and we felt a little unsafe walking to and from the hotel to the duomo area where everything is, bars, restaurants, shops ect, as groups of 2 to 3 men tended to follow you. We found walking in the road drew attention to us which stopped them following us. Would stay near the doumo and pay the extra as the walk was very long, unless you want to get really fit. Oh and reception has area maps but you have to ask for them otherwise you do not get one.
we like this hotel. really. very fine hotel.
Dei Fiori is very good value for money and the rooms are of of good standard. The only negative point wold be that it's a bit out of the way in the sense that it feels like you are in a suburb and not in Milan. However it only takes about 15min from the centre.
The hotel is only 150meters from the metro station but it is not very safe to walk around at night especially after 11pm. The cold buffet was quite good.
On the website, it says that this hotel is in the Corso Navigli region. However it is in Famagosta which is 2 underground stops away.
Courteous staff, who managed English quite well; clean room; though out from Central Station and Duomo, the nearby subway connection overcame this problem; good restaurants along several streets near the canal which is just a 3-block walk (safe day and night).
Location was quite OK, as very short walk from metro station, from Famagota exit. And pricing was good compared to the avarage level in Milan (which is unbelievable..). Breakfast was quite nice as well, as a Finn I would have liked to get bread with more fibre and something "green" in the table, but you can't always get it all :) Only negative thing was the ants walking around the table, and even into my TUC bisquits.
nice hotel close to the center for a good price
O.K. as an inexpensive business hotel, I guess, but not recommended for tourists. Hotel is close enough to downtown, but surrounded by expressway on ramps & a bus garage. Hot, dusty, & ugly location. Small room with noisy air conditioner which kept us up at night.
We had a very pleasant experience with Dei Firori Hotel. The hotel staff, especially the long-hair gentleman receptionist, is extremely friendly. The hotel is a bit outside of town, but is extremely closed to the metro. Because it is a bit out of town, we feel that the nearby area is very safe. Don't expect a lot of restaurants around, but we did enjoy a wonderful meal at a Chinese restaurant near the hotel, twice.
Very close to the metro station and lovely price !
The staff was so helpful and hotel located just off the metro, very easy to get too. Breakfast was great for such a hotel. Hotel was dated but clean, a good low budget option I would use again.
Only the walls are thin, so you can hear all the noice from the neighbours and in the corridor. The lady serving the breakfast was very good, but one gentlemen at the reception lost his patience. The others at the reception were good. Thats why I gave an average on service. Greetings, Family Donk also on behalf of fam Macintish and Shamira Starke
Enjoyed my stay here. The location is quite far from the city center, but only 10mins away via the metro. Quite easy to find from the Famagosta station too, they had signs to direct you there. Overall, good value for money, can't complain.
Everything was as stated in the hotel details. The hotel is located on a highway but that's not a problem at all. it's not noisy. It's really near the metro station-which you can get to central stations in 10-15minutes. I must mention that the reception staff is VERY helpful and hospitable. Ask them for anyhing you may need during your stay. Considering that is a 3 star hotel it's a really good deal
Very nice Hotel in Milan. Staf and breakfest are excellent.
The hotel is small but clean. The price was unbeatable, also it is conveniently located on the underground station.
