"This hotel served its purpose, although I think the staff could have been more pleasent!! It was only a few moments from the marina where there is a street market at weekends, 15 mins to the sandy beach and 10 mins to The Ramblas.A taxi from the airport cost 28 euros although this does depend on the traffic. "Immaculate modernised hotel with sea-themed decor. Room was well heated and good sized, with opening double door to tiny balcony, which had a good view over the square. Location close to sea and many sights, and 5 minutes walk from RENFE train from airport, and the metro. Breakfast with variety of choice, but "hot" food unpalatable because it was not kept warm. No bar or restaurant, or tea making facilities. Just a vending machine! Might be just OK in summer but in the rain and cold when you have to hunt around outside for a cuppa, annoyingly unwelcoming. Extra cash for safe. internet fee of 2 euros for ten minutes was also unwelcome. Desk staff friendly and helpful. I would stay there again for its location and clean presentation, but not for its ambience." - Anonymous
