Delfino Hotel Venice

Nice hotel but not exactly 4 stars. Great location near Venice. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Personal was very helpful.

It's outside the main island. There is a bus stop to the island right in front of the hotel, which is really convenient, only takes 10 min and arrives every 10 min or so. The price was 84 EUR, compared to the 160 EUR at another hotel we stayed on the island during the same stay. Room was REALLY big, facilities were great, there's a big supermarket next doors. Of course, staying on the main island is romantic and charming, but the rooms would be cramped. This is great value. The only downside was that they forgot our morning call on the departure date... but apart from that, it's really worth your money.

I thought the hotel was fairly priced, rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds are very hard, so if you like a firm mattress... Right outside the hotel, you can catch a bus straight to Piazza Roma in Venice.

I will first mention the good points- the bus to Venice stops right in front of the hotel, and you can be in Venice in 10 minutes. The tickets can be purchased at the hotel reception. Staff were reasonably friendly. The facilities in the room are ok, good for the price you pay. Now the downside- breakfast very average- the bread did not look fresh,and the toaster was broken. If your lunch and tea are not included, don't bother going to the restaurant which is very pricey for mediocre food- just go into Venice and have some nice food. Overall, it is not a bad hotel to stay for a night or two, and certainly a lot cheaper than many hotels in Venice old city- so good value for money, but if you want a true Venicean experience don't stay at Mestre

A very decent hotel, not really 4 star, but clean and comfortable, especially at the very good rate offered (obviously out of season). Very handy for Venice: the bus stop is literally across the road and the bus ride about 10-15 minutes to the station at Piazzale Roma, Venice. Would definitely use it again at the price offered.

Internet wasn't very good, big spacious rooms.

Located on the mainland, but fast and frequent publc transportation from right outside the hotell door. very convenient.

Good hotel close to Venice with the bus (every 6 minutes) to Venice in front of the hotel. Breakfast is good quality but not a lot of choice. The rooms are small but clean although a bit noisy. Staff is friendly. Very good price/quality balance. We paid 67 EUR incl. breakfast.

Nice hotel for Italian standards but basic facilities. Service was mediocre.Location is good if you don't want to drag yr bags over bridges & thru lanes in Venice,bus stop outside was handy about 10mins to venice & supermarket next door.Not the real Venice experience but after seeing people dragging their suitcases I was quite glad I didn't have to do that.

It' a good hotel for the price, it's noisy when people walk in the hotel but still a good place in Mestre.

Very noisy every early morning. Very bad soundproofed breakfast room and kitchen !

Hotel is nice. Easy to find. Parking is only 10 euro per day. Bus station is in front of hotel (every 6 min. to Venice). It takes 10 minutes ride to Piazzali Roma, then with vaporetto or walk you can continue to discover Venezia.

The location and staff are nice.But the infomation to venice wasen't good enoguh.We bought the boat ticket and it can be used only once.but hotel's info. wrote it is "round trip" Hotel room is large,but isnt really clean.Wall and carpet kind of dirty.

Its a wonderful hotel. Good location, very clean. Very near from Venice. Easy to go to Hotel from Venice SL than Mestre. Direct bus service from Venice SL. Good value for money.

It's too noisy that all the noise of the road is in the room, I think the window system must be changed.

Delfino Hotel is very well located in Mestre, with bus going into Venice ST Lucia evry 6 mins. Bus stop is opposite hotel for just 2 EUROS (RETURN). Train station is only 10 mins walk away and one can plan to go to various towns in Veneto Region. Hotel rooms are spacious and confortable. We recommend this hotel.

Good location (bus for Venice stops just in front of the hotel), good breakfast. Very thin wall from the main street and therefore noisy room. In general good value for that money.

Excellent base for visiting Venice. Hotel being upgraded and very large room all recently refurbished. Staff very helpful with transport connections, etc.

dont miss this one,a very nice hotel in a good location handy for the bus to venice,its just been refurbished to s great standard modern rooms with a fantastic bathroom,the foyer is nice and is yet to be done.just over a euro on the bus to venice right outside the hotel,i would stop here again

i stayed on this hotel and all staff made me feel really comfortable,very clean.the breakfast were really good as well and very easy to get around, close to the train station and very easy to get a bus too... the room was adorable with tv,fridge and all the facilites you can have.
