Getting there:The Intercity buses go past De Lorenzos Studio Apartments on the way to their Terminal and are happy to drop off or pickup at the door. The Airport is a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride away. Driving into Nelson City on State Highway one from Picton you turn left at the roundabout sign posted city centre (or if driving Richmond you turn right) and you will see De Lorenzos 0.5 kliometre on the left hand side of Trafalgar Street,nearly opposite the main gates into Trafalgar Park Sports Ground.
Check-in Procedure:The friendly team at our reception will be there to check you in from 1.00pm onwards (we will endeavour to accommodate early arrivals). Requests (i.e. first floor with Balcony ) will be considered but cannot be guaranteed. Check in after 10.00pm can be made at Trailways Hotel across the road.
Car parking:Off street carparking is available with some spaces undercover
Child Policy:Rates are for 1-2 people.Max occupancy is 3 with one person on a Rollaway be.Extra guest NZ$25.00 per night for Rollaway paid on arrival,Children FOC when using existing bedding otherwise Rollaway bed charge applies.

Enjoyed the stay in Nelson, the motel is located close to the town center walking distance is less than 5 minutes. The unit we stayed in was clean and tidy well laid out and comfortable, reasonable value for money.

DeLorenzo's is a great place to say. Staff are friendly and helpful; checking in and out is fuss free and the facilities provided are great.
The hotel is situated very close (just a few minutes walk)to the centre of town but our rear units were very comfortable and quiet. The beds gave a good night sleep and the air conditioning kept us at a good temperature after some hard mountain bike riding over the weekend. I would certainly stay here again.

Stayed off season when Nelson was quiet but the rooms were probably still better value than say the [other hotel] and you get to use of charge back facilities at the "Trailways". Handy location for town and friendly staff. Would/Will use this place again in August.

One of the most comfortable places we stayed at in NZ. Poolside Studio Apartment was spacious and contained everything from large LCD TV to spa bath to balcony. Close to beach and city. Receives our highest recommendation.
