"Stayed at Derby for two nights and our first room was tiny (we were 3) and the bathroom stank. The paint is falling of the walls and the overall look of this place is a hostel that had its prime time 20 years ago..
Wierd that you could only access internet after 2pm, however the staff was very friendly.

By car
The hotel is easily reachable by car. From the A1 highway or from the airport, follow the indications to Firenze centro and take via Piantanida, which then becomes via Baracca. Follow the street to piazza Puccini and then take via Ponte alle Mosse, until you reach Porta al Prato. Follow viale Fratelli Rosselli towards the Fortezza da Basso. Go round the walls of the Fortezza da Basso and then take viale Lavagnini. At the crossroad with via S. Caterina d'Alessandria, make a right turn. Keep the right and go through piazza Indipendenza. The street then becomes via Nazionale, where at number 35 the hotel is located.
By train
The Santa Maria Novella railway station is only 150 metres away from the hotel. It is a 5 minutes' walk: take the left exit of the station and walk down via Nazionale until you reach number 35, where the hotel is located.
