Des 3 Nations Hotel Paris

Our room was located in a calm side street, the hotel is a couple of 100m from place de la rpublique. It is not the newest hotel (bed cover and wallpaper look old) but the staff is friendly and the price is ok.

This hotel is a good choice for the budget traveller in an otherwise expensive city. Made better by the location to Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est and the Metro down the road if you don't feel like the comfortable walk to the Seine.

Standard 2 star hotel. Friendly staff, but I would definetely recommend getting of at the Jacques Beausergant (sp?) stop- not Chateau D'eau! Facilities were clean, it was just a little dated. Small but good shower, most rooms have a tiny balcony. Tons of patisseries etc in the area, convenient to loads, but kind of far from the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees etc.

Hotel is basic but good value. A little noisy at times but not a major problem. However, would recommend having breakfast in one of the many nearby cafes rather than paying the extra 8 euros - overpriced for what's on offer.

Given the low price I would say its great. Clean, good service, good size of the room/shower... Best of all is the location, many metro lines go out from Place de la Republique to all of Paris. There are also ok restaurants around 'Republique'.

Small tiny room smelling of tobacco and rather worn out.

Nice and clean but the bathroom feels small if your over 185 cm:s tall.

Basic Accomodation, very handy to transport on the metro. Courteous family business, Easy to access. However dont be expecting a large room or fancy facilities. We got what we expected and it was a very simple task to jump on the train to get anywhere we wanted to go

Excellent location and facilities for the price.

This was a great hotel. Beds were small, but adequate. Fantastic to have a bathroom in room, we had a shower that worked perfectly. Front desk staff was helpful. We opted out on breakfast, wanting to explore other places. Only three blocks to Chateau d'Eau Metro stop. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Traveling with a handicapped friend, we needed a place convenient to the metro and with a lift. This hotel met those needs and the staff was wonderful. They made up for the somewhat basic, but clean accomodations.

Hotel was what I expected. Close to some very good restaurants.

For its rating this hotel was better than expected. The staff are welcoming, polite and obliging. Rooms are compact but their cleanliness, and the closeness of the hotel to restaurants and the city centre make up for that. By comparision to others in this area, and yes I have stayed in a few, this is good value for money.

The reception staff were very helpful and this is undoubtedely what gives you the first image of a hotel.

A very friendly traditional hotel right in the heart of Republique. The facilities are basic by modern standards but reflect the 19th nature of the building. I have stayed in over 20 hotels in Paris and within the comparative price range this was the best. Bohemian but clean.

This hotel is in a prime loaction and has 3 metro stops near it. Near by there is bakeries and a one minute walk away is the famous Republique. We had a really good stay at this hotel and nothing is too far away. We made it from the hotel to the Eifel Tower in less than 15 mins. It is also easy to get to from both airport and the staff are great. They speak English and the brekkie is good to!!!

Friendly people, clean rooms, good price, I can recommend it. Rooms in the 5th floor even have a nice roof-balcony!

Nice hotel for the price, situated in a good location. The hotel staff was wery kind. We will come back.

Very good deal - nice people, serviceminded and the hotel is perfecly located 2 min from Republique Metro station. No doubt - we will love to stay there again.
