Getting there:By car Coming from all directions on the ring-road, exit at Porte de Saint-Clair. Make a left into the first street, and follow the signs to the hotel. By train Coming from Lyon Part-Dieu railway station, it is a 15-minute walk. Take Boulevard Jules Favre, Rue Marie Curie, Boulevard de Stalingrad, and follow the signs to the hotel. By airplane From Lyon Satolas airport, take the ring road and follow the aforementioned indications.

2 Nächte. Die Lage ist OK, auch wenn man durch einen etwas obskuren Park gehen muss um zum Hotel zu gelangen. Das Frühstück kostete 15 Euro extra. Drum gingen wir zum Bäcker nebenan. Dafür sauber und freundlich.
Stayed as part of the "Festival of Lights" in Lyon. As all other hotels increased their prices to extrodinary levels. Not too far from Charpennes metro station about 10min walk through safe streets. Nothing special to look at from the outside. Service is good by the front desk. Although the rooms do appear a little bit dated (exception of the 19" non Wide Screen LCD TV). The closest metro station: Charpennes has two metro lines (A line takes you straight into the city centre Hotel De Ville and Bellecour, D line takes you to Gare Part Dieu where the airport shuttle stops) and tram line which also takes you to Gare Part Dieu.

Initially a little tricky to locate if following a map and in our rental car, but taxi drivers found it ok. Easy to get to Part-Dieu train station and more convenient than main station in centre for fast train link to Paris. Thank you for having a very efficient lift. Excellent breakfast and in room facilities. Would love to stay again some time.
Room decor a bit dated, but very clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
