Just 5 minutes from the very heart of Glasgow, in the fashionable ‘West End’, the Devoncove Hotel is a rather special hotel, where comfort and service sit in perfect harmony to create a homely, easy friendly, very relaxed feel. Where service is determined by the customer rather than by the clock. Where the customer, not the shareholder or the balance sheet, is king! And where conventional rules of stuffy standardisation so often found in large city centre hotels are thankfully transcended here by a fresh and healthy customer focused, service driven culture. A worthy representative in any list of Glasgow quality hotel accommodation, more than justifying its comfortably earned 3-star hotel standard - and indeed incorporating many extras as standard, which you'd expect to pay a lot more for, in many leading Glasgow city hotels. The Devoncove Hotel in Glasgow provides both the carefree holiday maker and the busy business executive with a great atmosphere in which to enjoy a range of leisure and work-related facilities with a simple individual style, and a universal appeal. We are situated close to the SECC and Glasgow University - and also amongst some of Glasgow's very best tourist attractions, including the Royal Concert Hall and the Kelvingrove Art Gallery - and the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena.

Good location. Beautiful entrance. Room not as pictures on website (but are they ever?) Bathroom could have done with a good clean and mould remover. Broken toilet roll holder. Broken glass holder. Broken drawers in room. Bed was ok. Good choice of TV channels. Staff friendly. Price a bit to expensive for what we actually received within room.
great value for money. staff were friedly and helpful. rooms were huge, and clean. small car park had cctv cameras fitted. fabulous location. i would happily stay again
This hotel is very good value for money if you don't mind staying somewhere a bit rough around the edges. The rooms were very basic but comfortable and the foyer was quite attractive. When we stayed here the breakfast room was a bit of a mess but it did look as though there might have been some work going on. Location is perfect and free on-site parking more than made up for the rough edges inside!
We are very happy with our stay in the above mentioned hotel. The satff (especially the reception and restaurant) were very friendly and extremely helpful. I sincerely thank the staff and management of Devoncove Hotel Glasgow for the good work they are doing. Please keep up your high standards.
helpful with directions, beds comfy, breakfast ok (no white toast!), off street parking (bit cramped). Good deals via web.
I asked for a room at the back and as soon as I walked in I smelled horrible stail smoke. I got another room at the front which was much less smelly. It is very noisey on a main road. They are doing up the hotel but the one thing they should be buying is new mattresses.
Once construction is complete this will be an excellent hotel.
Quirky room that resembled Alice in Wonderland with a steep climb to the window and the furniture not parallel with the wall...!!! Was funny and apart from the weird sensation that you might roll into the middle of the room, it was a nice stay! Couple of other minor things were that the plug in the sink was damaged where the water dropped out of the back - but it was reported and rectified quickly. Nice hotel though with friendly staff and a good party atmosphere made it an enjoyable stay.
the bath leaked all over the floor and half the lights didnt work, and the pillows were a bit grubby, but was n a good location though.
all i was looking for was a clean hotel with no hassle ten minutes taxi to the city centre a good few days away with my fiance thank you rates to go
More a b+b than a Hotel!!!
The breakfast was so so. The Staff wasn't very informative.
Great breakfast, location is managable: we were on foot the whole time we stayed there and quite enjoyed the walk back from Central Glasgow. Quiet. The beds were comfortable. Rooms were of a good size, although the television reception was really bad and some of the lights didn't work in the room. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
We were happy with our stay at the hotel. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. I felt that it could have been better and let the good standard of the hotel down. There was not a great variety to choose from and the tea was really bad. The staff however were excellent.
great value for money for the location, although the rooms at the front are noisy from the traffic outside.
reception area could be doing with upgrading and bar area brightening up but can fault anything else, rooms were very spacious and very clean.
Friendly staff
Good-value hotel in the university area. Friendly and helpful staff. Useful parking at back.
