Diamant Hotel Brisbane

Nice stay conveniently located to CBD and Fortitude Valley. Friendly & helpful staff with added bonus of decent restaurant / cafe. Didn't feel perfectly safe at night in vicinity of hotel - though I suspect it was.

The room was comfortable but small. The desk was inadequate with a stool to sit on. OK for short time but uncomfortable as a work station. There was no easy chair, only the bed or the stool to sit on. Reoom was very clean and the bed comfortable.

I have stayed here many times since the hotel opened as the Portal. The attached "O" BAR gives top service with a modern Interesting Menu. Besrt choice in Brisbane in this range.

I found the staff at Diamant Hotel to be very helpful going beyond what I would have expected. Parking is the biggest issue however this is typical of the area and any big city, you will need to either pay for a parking garage or get lucky like I did and grab one of the very few street parking spots. I chose this hotel for its general location and was great for the weekend stay. I didn't actaully use all the amenities.

Great value for money, rooms are a little small but you only sleep there. Great location easy to find but parking is a little difficult. Overall great spot and Hotel. Would recommend to anyone.

One night stay in Brisbane for business and I was enthralled by the simple elegance and comfort of the hotel. The friendly, efficient staff were extremely helpful particularly in their directions as to how to access Central Station by the most direct route. Great bed with four luxury pillows ensured a wonderful rest at the end of the day. Good choice of sports channels on the TV, also.

Stayed here twice now. Boutique style accommodation. Rooms quite compact so handy for an overnighter or if on business. Love the Restaurant, food fantastic.

Room was small but for one night quite comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar below great for a drink and snack before show with excellent service although morning staff a little rude when serving takeaway coffee. Would stay again for just a night, quiet and away from the hustle bustle of the city.

This little place is a gem for location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff. It is conveniently located close to train station and therefore quick travel to airport. Room rather small but adequate and modern fit out. Will defifinitly come back.

Great friendly staff, clean, close to the main city, great place to stay. It is five star service. I will be going back and stay with them.

Hard to find!! Lovely clean but small room ( hard to accomodate our two sets of overseas travel bags in ) Large comfy bed & pillows Cutest tiny balcony! Lovely bathroom & extras.. Earl grey tea! Yay! Good hotel with good cafe/wine bar at base. Close to Central station, very convenient.

Had a great week-end, staff and service were excellent, position was ideal.Will stay here whenever we need to be in Brisbane.

The room was very modern and clean with good facilities but on the small side. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom/roomy shower. Very quiet location but walking distance from Railway, city centre and south bank. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only gripe was that there was no table/desk to work on - went to bar downstairs instead which still connected to the hotel internet. Would certainly book in there again if I got a good deal like this time.

Originally The Portal, Brisbane Diamant is a very convenient boutique hotel offering all that is required for the overnight business traveller. The rooms are small but functional. Some rooms have a nice balcony. Excellent and friendly service. A good restaurant with interesting menu.

Such a nice change to find accommodation that offers efficient, friendly staff. Compact room, but very comfortable. Great Restaurant and Bar, fabulous food and staff were fantastic. Will definitely be returning.

A really clean and friendly hotel. Really close to everything and really helpfull. We will definetly stay here again.

Great rooms but below average in size. Limited facilities, ok location for the City and Fortitude Valley.

Location was great, only a short walk to central station and Queens plaza shopping area. Our room was comfortable and we were able to check in very early in the day. My only small issue is that the bathroom was very dark with almost no lighting, but the water pressure was tremendous.
