10 minutes walk to Sky train station, breakfast is simple but ok.
Musty smell in 2 of the 3 rooms we had. Innitially we did not get the superior rooms we booked, only got better rooms after we challenged them on the strong nicotine odour. Location is great. Staff is very friendly, but do not overestimate their comprehension of the english language. Excellent value for money
My family enjoy staying in this hotel, very homely, comfortable and staffs are very helpful. A few steps away from the hotel, there is a street in the morning is market and by evening it's a food street [cheap and nice]. We will come back again on our next trip.
For the pricing you need to lower your expectations. With that in mind, this would be a decent hotel. Room is cosy and nice, although crampy. Breakfast is simple and the dishes variety are the same for the 3 days i stayed there. It last me only 2 times before i decided to eat elsewhere. Location is not as convenient as what the introductory has listed. All taxi either not sure or don't know the place. Walking to nearest BTS, Rachathewi is 10 mins and 20 mins to MBK. Quite a vibrant street leading to main road with roadside stalls and two 7-11.
verry good hotel near center
verry good hotel !!! good service clean .cheap near beach
Good central location near Siam Square although accessable only down a smelly side street. Rooms quite large, staff not overfriendly by Thai standards.
This is a value price place to "sleep & shower". Adjacent to 7-11; walking distance to the SkyTrain & big Tesco supermarket (but don't do it in like midday sun). Breakfast spread is not bad, although we stayed only 2 nights. Don't bother with room TV - only Bloomberg news in English and CNN at the lobby TV only.
This hotel is in an ok position. 10 minutes walk to skytrain and from there it's only one stop to Siam with all the major shopping centres. Th e food stalls down the lane from the 7- 11 shop are brilliant. There are a couple of gems; like the fellow who sells the best tom yum soup ever and the ladies who make a pumpkin desert with custard. I usually stay at Soi Kasem san but I will go back to this lane for the food. The hotel is not bad. It's quiet, clean, breakfast is included in the price, but it's ordinary. Prices have gone up in BKK in the last few month, so 40 AUD for this standard hotel is probably ok
Had a great stay in this cosy boutique hotel. Large tasteful rooms n walking distance to skytrain at Asia Hotel. Very nice & friendly staff who are very helpful & allow us to leave our luggages for 6 hours so we can shop at nearby Pratunam. Over all good value for money.
Too far from MBK but thumbs up for budget traveller with big size room and clean sheets. Along little side walks with plenty of good food, and a short distant stroll to nearest BTS at Asia Hotel.
clean room with good price.
At first I thought the location was awful, but as I discovered the area I realised how wrong I was . The hotel itself is like a boutique hotel and the rooms are large. The breakdfast lets the hotel rating down for westerners at least NO Bacon!! limited fruit options but for Asians the fare is ok.I will sstay here again as they do listen to feedback!!
The hotel was conveniently located as local food was within waling distance and easily available at reasonable price. Food was delicious.
Nice hotel, good furniture, not only in the room but in the corridors, polite staff. Walking to the sky train station takes about 10 minutes, but its a narrow street with many stalls especially in the evening. Taxi to the new airport cost me 280 Baht, including the toll fee (65 Baht). I think I will stay there again.
Good place for budget travel, very convinience and confort.
The people here are very friendly. They will try to explain to you what you want to know, even their English is not so good. Free flow coffee, tea & drinks all day long. Free wifi internet, if you have your laptop with you. small hotel, but really good hotel. Sure will come back.
We were looking for a good location with the train primary our preference. It's a 7-8 minutes walk to the nearest BTS station along a small lane but it's not scary as there are some food stalls along it and not too spooky. But walking from MBK & Siam Paragon was crazy, do not attempt it unless u are a walker, took us around 25-30 mins and it's better to wave down a taxi. Special mention for the staff, she saw us walking out the hotel and approach us asking where we were going, and then waved down a taxi for us and describing it to the driver in Thai. Overall, for this price, it's the best u could get. Just 1 thing, the Triple room u book on this site won't work, it's meant for 2. Wonder why they put it as Triple room - There were 3 of us and ended up paying for the extra bed. No complain, just misleading info on the site
For the price you pay, the hotel is worth is. Location is pretty ok, just 15 mins walk to MBK and siam square. The services was excellent and the hotel is pretty clean. If you are looking for a budget hotel, this is 1 place you will like to consider. The only issue is that there is mosquitoes breeding in the area and my gf was badly bitten (however, I was spared the bite).
