Good hotel with great swimming pools. Ideal for family. Room is big. Breakfast charge for children at 200bht is too high. Disappointed with the front desk staff. The lady at the front desk has a glum face from the day we checked in to the day we checked out. This is surprising when all the other service staff from waiters to chambermaids are friendly and accomodating. The hotel should seriously have a more warm and friendly person at the front desk. The spa in the hotel was good and the low peak discount of 40% was incentive to try it out.

Good location with very friendly and helpful staff - the bell boy called us 10 minutes before check-out time to collect our bags. Apart from the smelly carpet where you put your luggage, the rooms were very clean and spacious. Not much English books in the library though.

This is a brilliant hotel! All staff were friendly from the reception all the way down to the gardiners and cleaners. The pools were amazing, breakfast great and the spa treatments to die for! Go there! We will definitely be going back.

Great value at 30 GBP, it wold be overpriced at 60 / 70 GBP for a standard room. Good pool, a short but steep walk to the beach on a road. Pool bar and food good value.

fairly good resort for families - good food and facilities - be wary of guest charge if you are single and plan on having a visitor - a few minor details need to be addressed with service and cleanliness, otherwise good value for the money

Nice place, but we were a bit annoyed that the hotel refused to book a normal taxi for us back to the airport (which would've cost 480 baht) so we had to use their private taxi service (which cost 800 baht)

It has one of the best spa I ve been to. Ask for the carot drink after massage. It's the most curious and tastiest juice ever. The massage never fails to make me fall asleep in comfort. And the Karon beach neraby is really beautiful. Definately going back there soon.

It is a beautiful hotel and great location, but when it's a moist enviroment it's easy to find mould in the rooms unfortunately. I would without a doubt stay there again though.

We chose to stay at this hotel as a quiet start to what was to be an active holiday. Diamond Cottage met our expectations in this regard. It was relaxing in it's environment, with shops/restaurants etc. still handy. It was too hot/humid for us to walk to our favourite beach (Kata), but was only a few minutes by tuk tuk. For those not put off by a good sweat, walking to the beach is definately possible. We believe the overall standard of the resort is worth well above the price we paid. Everything was nice. Wish we were back there!

A good value location spot, great pools and the on-site massage spa is worth going to. Further than I would have liked from the beach and good restaurants but the hotel restaurant is good and a taxi to places you want to go aren't expensive. Choose this place if you want somewhere a little quieter than patong etc... Renovations are still on going out the back as of June 08 - there is some noise but it is not too bad and it only goes on during the day when you are usually out and didn't annoy us when we were in the pool. It is not near the full-on night life but that was what we wanted. Overall - quite good.

The staff are friendly and very helpfull. We had a very nice stay, thoug it was a bit pricy!

We stayed in a villa room at Diamond Cottage Resort Spa for 6 nights. Considering it was our first trip to Phuket, the resort was well located in the Karon Beach area. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who helped to 'cool' us down with welcome drinks. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and served the 'best' Green Curry Beef in the area. Having a massage at the hotel is a must - they dim the lighting and play soft music in the background. An authenic experience! Karon beach was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel but we spent most of the time enjoying the hotel pools. Shops and restaurants are directly outside the hotel or in very close proximity to the hotel. We only wished the breakfast menu could have been varied. But overall we recommend the hotel and look forward to staying there again next year.

Personal was very kind and helpful. Room, pool and all other places were clean and good cared. Food was good and so also breakfast. Location was excellent, 5 minutes walking to Kata or Karon beach, shopping possiblities near. still peacefull environment to rest.

This is a beautiful hotel with helpful and kind employees. It is a great place to get away from the boisterousness of Patong Beach, but if you are a young person who likes to be out at night bring an extra 800-1000bat(to and from) spending change for the tuk tuks if you stay here. Beware of the elderly people and families, they are in high number

Nice hotel for a quiet break, room and hotel staff were lovely. Although the hotel was quiet, it was on the main street which meant bars, shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. Plenty of sunbeds available at the pool, which was another bonus!

We stayed in a villa room. The construction beside is interrupting our sleep early morning. Despite that the room and service was ok and the activity booking personnel is helpful too. There is bike rental provided by the hotel too. so we can park our bike safely in the hotel premises.

This hotel is located between Kata beach and Karon beach which requires only 5 min. walk to both beach. Location is very good. For the people who want to stay Hotels pool side, this is open from morning to evening. The quality check of swimming pool water is held every day. 2 things should be improved are 1) there was a Cockroach in the bed room 2)Noisy due to a live-bar music near Karon beach until midnight

We really liked this hotel and the whole staff was very nice. We certainly can recommend this hotel.
