Diplomatic Hotel Rome

On visiting Rome, I found the location of the hotel excellent. The staff at Diplomatic Hotel were very helpful especially inthe Reception area. They advised us of Bus numbers etc. which is very helpful to guests on their 1st visit. I will certainly be back to visit Rome and will definitely be reserving this hotel. I have already recommended same to 2 friends travelling to Rome within ther next few weeks.

nice hotel which is 5 min walk from the spanish steps. Its possible to walk to all sights. We stayed in a big room, it had a beautiful bath

This hotel has a perfect location, it's situated near all the main attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very helpful and also the breakfast was good. Our room was in second floor and unfortunately there was a lot of traffic noise because there was a bus stop right under our window. We would consider staying there again.

If I'm ever in Rome I would not hesitate in staying here again. Diplomatic could stand up to any major brand 3 star hotel. It's positioning is so that it is not smack in a tourist trap area, so you can find great restaurants that locals frequent, but it is a very easy 3-7 min walk to most of the main sights. All so, situated right outside the hotel is the stop for 2 of the main city bus tour operators.

Fairly basic hotel, but clean. Good location for Vatican city, conciege team went out of their way to help make arrangements.

We found the location excellent for our needs, nice breakfast room and breakfast, staff friendly. We would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

The Diplomatic Hotel is an older hotel that is well maintained with good service. The room we stayed in was large by Europeon standards and was very clean. The Bathroom, was clean and good size by Euopean standards. The shower a bit hard to get into, but was adequate. Hot water was best at night, luck warm in the morning at times. The buffet breakfast was average by Europeaon standards and was adequate for our needs. I would recommend ths otel for a moderately priced hotel in room.

For its position alone, which was within walking distance of most of the prime tourist spots, it is well worth considering. Good sized rooms and excellent staff meant that it had everything you needed for a Roman holiday. Breakfast was included and was typically Italian.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, very good location for Vatican City, five minute walk, staff very helpful, hotel very clean, room good size with nice bathroom, breakfast buffet style.

The breakfast is very simple. Probably the only three star hotel in Rome where mineral water is not included in the breakfast and the client is requested to be charged for it !!

Very easy walking distance to historic centre and vatican, good breakfast and comfortable, clean rooms. Don't pay for the airport transfer though - normal taxis are cheaper!

The hotel is very nice and refined, the room is very confortable and the service is courteous and professional. Located in a strategic position to visit the city, it can be a good solution for a short stay in Rome. I'll suggest it to my friends.

Ideally situated in the centre of old Rome, within walking distance of many of the main attractions. Hotel very clean and staff most pleasant and helpful. Would recommend it to friends. Whilst it may appear more expensive than some hotels located in the suburbs you save on both travelling costs to/from the city centre and on time.
