"This is a new hotel in Horta with beautiful facilities and wonderful service. They have underground parking for guests free of charge. One thing is that they don't provide a tea/coffee maker in the room. We leaned this while searching Internet and we brought our own electric kettle and coffee cups. " - Anonymous

Horta Airport is located at Castelo Branco, 10 km away from town. Driving from the airport to Hotel do Canal will take you 10 minutes.
When leaving the airport, you will have to look for signs to Horta.
Once you are on the road, drive straight for 10 km, never changing direction (even if you see other signposts).
Keep following signs that lead you to Horta (South).
You will see Porto Pim beach (beach inside of a bay) on your right hand side. At this time you are already in Horta.
From this point, drive another 100 metres, where you will find an intersection.
Take the turning on the right at F. Carvalho Street and then, take the first turning on the left.
Now you have reached the harbour and Hotel do Canal is on your left hand side, at Largo Dr. Manuel de Arriaga.
