Doctors Cave Beach Hotel Montego Bay

We were on our honeymoon and the atmosphere was great. We would definately go back and stay at Doctor's Cave.

The hotel is close to a main road. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a Garden view room. The restaurant served a very good breakfast.

Reasonable location,on mainstreet,across from ocean although you can't see any water as too many buildings in the way.Doctor's cave beach is close by but not much to look at(tiny-no shade,hidden behind a wall,pay for everything)The free rum punch on tues.evening was good,liked K... the bartender.Nice garden,quaint room on garden side.Had breakfast there-pricey for what you get-$5.20 american for one cup of coffee! would stay again.

Doctors Cave Beach Hotel is at a such great location, I loved it. My only concern is that there should be a crosswalk at the hotel pedestrian entrance. Crossing the street to get to the hotel is very dangerous, especially when you have children.

This is a very good Hotel in an excellant location with an excellant dining and bar facilities. It is never crowded and the staff treat you like family.

I am very satisfied with this Hotel. They met my expectations in every way. Their location is very good, the staff friendly and helpful. They have an excellent dining area and bar. The food is very good and served quickly. I would gladly book this hotel again.

A bit of a pity that you have to pay entrance fee for the beach. However, the beach is just a couple of meters walk from the hotel. Nice and cosy place.

This hotel is located in the middle of the strip, 10 minutes from airport and convenient to the beach across the street-$5.00 entry fee. The room was suitable for one, tight for two,but larger rooms are available. Staff was polite and very friendly. I did not use the restaurant. Many restaurants close by,a cafe next door, the Pelican grill and BK down the street. Buffet at the casino on Sunday for a full Jamaican Breakfast is not to be missed.

+: Nice location, close to shops, restaurants, private beach (5 US$ entrance). +: pool & tennis table with equipment available (free of charge) +: quiet rooms, if you have the right a/c... -: We got 'king size’ bed where they simply put on 2 queen size matrasses... After complaining, we were offered another room wiz real double bed, but the a/c was of the 'noisy type', so we stayed in the other room (wiz better a/c) after all. -: at check-in, there was a 'problem' with the price (breakfast was included, but we still had to pay this extra). They doublechecked wiz [website]. This took about 15 min! After all, it was settled, but to make sure: bring a copy of the voucher! -: Breakfast is simple... don't include it beforehand! About same price at hotel! Leave option open... -: limited parking spaces. When using the hotel parking, watch out for 'Parking Supervisors' who want money for their 'help'! The real parking supervisor won't do that!!! Inform the hotel when this happens!
