"I stayed at new part of the hotel - good, big and clean room. Other rooms might be quite small (?). Only shortage: no mosquito net in the windows, disturbing mosquitos in night.

"The hotel was conviently located 10 mins on foot from Piazzale Roma, 5 min from the train station. The room (single) is spacious and clean but being on the ground floor it was darkish and required lights on during the daytime. The street was noisy in the morning as it seems to be located on a popular route so I could hear people passing and talking from the early morning and my room was next to the storage room with partition wall not reaching the ceiling and I was woken up by the noise made by delivery people at 6.15 a.m. or hotel staff needing access to the storage room from early hours. Overall the hotel was good and the staff were friendly." - Anonymous

The Hotel Doge, is a pretty XVII century building, situated in the artistique and historical centre of Venice. The Hotel is located several minutes from the train station near the Grand Canal and not far away from the Rialto bridge.
Situated in a quiet area, the hotel offer old-fashioned hospitality and the convenience of a modern hotel.
Despite the hotel being small it offers a large welcome to make your stay in our wonderful city even more pleasing.
All our rooms are very nice. With one or two windows seeing on the inner garden or on the road. The ceilings with girders in wood, The walls painted with a precious colour yellow ochre.
Furniture in wood with a great mirror and the refrigerator inside.

Arriving by plane: International Airport Marco Polo:
the international airport Marco Polo is situated in Tessera, 8 Km by bus. Service of pubblic bus ACTV or ATVO for Piazzale Roma (Venice), it will take about 20 minutes.
When you arrive at Piazzale Roma (Venice): you can take the ACTV''S lines n.1 to reach the Hotel. Get off at Riva di Biasio. Or walk till the big bridge in front the railway station, turn right in street and follow the indication.
