"This is without doubt, the most delightful hotel in which we've ever stayed. It is about ten miniutes out of town on the number 7 bus and about 100 metres from the bus stop. The welcome to this family run hotel showed a genuine warmth and interest, reflecting real care and commitment to the guests. The hotel is built in typical local style and has wood panelling and beams throughout. We had an excellent evening meal in the hotel restaurant which again reflects beautiful local tastes and traditions of decor as well as cuisine. Our room looked out over the pool and fields to the mountains behind and the whole experience has left us with wonderful memories. It's a hotel made for romantics! We will return but in the meantime, would recommend it without hesitation." - Ian Kerr
"Great hotel and staff, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, etc. Fine restaurant. No elevator so handicapped, like me, beware of having to walk stairs to rooms. Outside Salzburg, we drove, no problem, but is a bus stop a walking distance away that goes direct to old city. " - George Gardiner
"This was a very nice looking, unique hotel. The checkout time is kind of early. The location was right off a bus line, but it is kind of expensive for being out of the city so far." - Jacob Jensen
"Just watch if you do book here, as there are sparse directions on how to find it if you do not have a car. As it is a little out of town, the best way to get there is to catch the trolley bus from the airport and then go across the road and catch trolley bus 7 and get off a Valkanauer Strasse. It was a little confusing on the first day but get a 24 hour or 72 hour card from the reception desk and you can go wherever you wish by trolley. Great place to stay." - Karen Jessup
