A bit dated and definitely not 5 star though staff friendly
The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent bathroom, bed, bedding. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety, although the hot foods were not in line with the quality of the hotel. My main complaint was very bad Internet access - the "Internet room" consisted of 2 ancient computers with rather slow connections, and an intrusive nanny filter that blocked even many mainstream news pages.
Great hotel all round, the only sticking point was the uphill walk back to the hotel from the city centre however this can hardly be considered a negative as the view from the room was fantastic....you can't have everyhting!
we stayed on the 6th floor, rm 609 and there was a very bad smell of sewage outside in the corridor and in the bathroom the room was very claen and comfortable however. ask for a corner rm on the south side of the building on floor 10 or above to get a good view.
Excellent Hotel. I highly recommend it.
Excellent breakfast. This hotel offers all the comfort needed. The location is good. About 10 minutes walk to the metro station. Great experience overall.
Breakfast was excellent with great selection of fresh fruits. Location was very good as it was a city central location. The hotel reception staff, who were most pleaseant, recommended an excellent restaurant. We were on the 17th floor and there was no traffic noise. The relaxation room on the 19th floor gave a good perspective view of the city but the refreshments were fairly basic. The concierge organised a taxi on two ocassions in the space of a minute. We asked for a twin room with separately made twin beds as we had been travelling all night but we did not get that.
Tower Rooms are perfect, beautifully decorated, spacious and the view over the city is breathtaking. Loved the Molton Brown goodies in the bathroom, nice touch. Staff are frendly and very helpfull. Highly recomend this perfect hotel, one of the best 5 star I've stayed in so far and excelent value for money. A +++++
My only complaint, and it's being rather harsh, is that the elevators are slow in arriving... other than that a very good hotel with very friendly staff.
Grate place, very recomended
Great Hotel, excellent service, we were well looked after by the staff. Its a little out of town but there is a metro line just down the road which runs all through the city so it wasnt a problem. Id love to stay there again.
It should be noted we stayed a Sunday evening and this is definately a commercial hotel even though of top quality. The price was good but the hotel was deserted. I would not have wnated to pay the normal tariff for a short stay during the week as you could not get value for money in the time.
A great improvement on previous years. Much better service. Better food. Waiters could still do with a little more training with manners. Will stay there again
