Don Paco Hotel Seville Guest Reviews

location was perfect, in the outskirts of downtown, 10 minutes of a pleasant walking distance from the cathedral. clean room. if you need a taxi to the train station, that would be a very easy and convenient task. ac was quite noisy.

This hotel is great value for money, good location, some of the best places to eat within just a few minutes walk. Fantastic pool area and roftop terrace. Sure, like some of the other reviews say, the lobby area is a bit dated, but you're not going to be spending much time in the lobby so I don't think it really matters. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable.

Stayed two consecutive weekends. The room the first weekend was larger, bathroom more spacious and better equipped with toiletries. The second weekend the person at reception gave us wrong information about times for food and we had to go out for a meal when we had planned to eat at the hotel. Hotel very clean. Staff at breakfast found us tables very quickly even when there were coach tours there. Good selection at breakfast. Bar food very reasonably priced. Hotel was recommended to us by friends from Seville and that is recommendation indeed!

We found this hotel to be an ideal base. The pool on the roof was superb. As the weather was very hot while we were there it was a gem. The staff were very helpful also. On arrival we were given a room facing an unattractive wall but we asked Carlos if we could get a room with a view and he facilitated us. The new room had a wonderful view over rooftops of the Cathedral and surrounding area. The breakfast buffet was good and varied. The bedroom was bright and clean and the bathroom airy with powerful shower. Will definitely return to Don Paco.

The single room was very tiny, but clean nd serviceable. I arrived late in the evening and could find nothing available to eat- the best was a ham and cheese toastie which I persuaded the barman to rustle up. Breakfast was, well, okay, a bit greasy and the coffee was from a machine. The location was fine, the Cathedral area was a pleasant-stroll-on-a-Sunday-morning away. Overall, pretty basic, but fine for just the one night, especially at the proce paid.

The Don Paco Hotel is in excellent location for getting around the city either walking or by bus. It was easy to get to from the airport without having to catch a taxi. We cought the airport bus to the train station then the No32 bus outside the train station to the stop next to the hotel, total cost 3.40euros each. The hotel has a gorgeous roof terrace with pool and plenty of seating area. The cleanliness was exceptional. The breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small and the furniture was a little dated, very clean though and for value for money it has to be the best hotel in Seville

This hotel is used by lots of different coach companies, so from 7.30am until 11pm you have coach after coach arriving outside the hotel, underneath the bedroom windows, and have a lot of noise from all the passengers queuing, chatting, clicking castanets from last night's flamenco show etc. We had a room on the first floor at the front and were inundated with noise. Added to this we were next to the cleaner's room who also started making a noise from 8am. The dining room was extremely busy and noisy, and the selection of food poor. Breakfast was extremely limited, with tinned fruit, rock hard bread rolls etc. And a meal from the bar one evening was sent out with a chicken breast uncooked. Eating in the main restaurant of an evening proved expensive and the selection hardly exciting.

Fantastic to have a pool, particularly in summer. The hotel is clearly very popular with US student groups studying in Seville, so in July/August don't expect this to be a tranquill getaway. Location is fine, but you will still need to get a cab home from the city centre at night (easy walk during the day, but the backstreets apparently get a little unsavoury at night). Breakfast is perfectly acceptable, rooms are spacious ... oh and did I mention how great the pool is?

Excellent value for money hotel, well located, we were in Seville in July '06 for a 4 day break, the temperature went upto 45 degrees so the roof top pool was an absolute God send, lovely to sit by the pool after touring round the city, definately would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, though we arrived in the early evening and finding anywhere to eat in the area except the hotel bar was almost impossible, unless you walked back into town, as the immediate area was sparce. The hotel was clean, staff friendly, quiet location and a good 20 minute walk to station, which is not really a problem. Would stay again if visiting the area.

A good value for money hotel, only about 10-15 minutes walk from the major sights. Friendly staff, a good breakfast, a good-sized room on the fourth floor and very clean.

For the price this is a great option in Sevilla. Best bit of the hotel is no doubt the rooftop pool and terrace - a good size with great views 360 degrees. A great way to end a hot days sight seeing.
