Dona Maria Hotel Seville

The location in front of the cathedral od Seville doesn't get any better. At the edge of old town you can walk everywhere. Very difficult to find by car, take a taxi:) the staff is amazing, the hotel has some fabulous history to it. Opening the balcony doors to the fountain and cathedral in the morning is priceless!

The location was great with many landmarks, restaurants and banks nearby. The room and bathroom were clean. However because the building is old, once I saw a huge roach in the bathroom when I got up in the middle of the night. The room faced the ground floor so on a Friday night it was noisy as I could hear people talking as they walked pass by.

I was traveling alone and wanted a place that was walking distance to many places. This hotel was perfect. The bar on the roof is great and has the most amazing view. The hotel is old, but quaint and has great character. The staff was SO nice and helpful, especially Carmen at the front desk. Most of the staff spoke some English. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

I had a wonderful trip Oct 2011 staying here. I stayed in a single room and couldn't have been happier. The staff goes above and beyond. Free wireless internet. Bar staff at roof top bar is friendly and helpful. The Caprinina(I hope I spelled that somewhat right) was the best drink I found in Spain. The location was better than any hotel I saw even the higher end more expensive ones. Love it. Will go again. The hotel made my experience. Every floor has art and is decorated well. It's not brand spanking new it's better!

Great location, close to many sights, bars and shops. Friendly staff. Rooftop pool and bar a godsend on hot days - and what a view. Would stay again.

Excellent location, opposite the cathedral and very central for restaurants, bars etc. Public transport links not so good as they do not cover old part of city. Did not take breakfast due to cost - much cheaper and more variety in local cafes. Room was OK, although mini-bar and TV did not work well. Staff at front desk very helpful and would happily stay there again for a short break.

Great location - but casual staff and average service. Needed to ask for towels and soap in room on arrival. Air con poor and rooms basic and dated.

location is just great! only remark is the cigarette smell in our room. THis is actually a common problem for most of the hotels. I just wish people would stop doing that. In this respect the rooms should be aerated more often. appart from that we were very happy with our stay. probably we will use it again.

The Dona Maria is a very lovely Hotel and is in an ideal location for tourists. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Beds were too hard and a bit lumpy for my comfort. Noise carried on the timber floors which made it a bit hard to sleep one night when people next door were partying. The hotel had internet facilities for guests. Tea making facilities would have been really appreciated.

Lovely hotel in a great location though ask for a room not on the 1st floor as it can get a little noisy at street level.

The hotel is a beautiful one and the staff are helpful.

Great facilities inc complimentary internet access and a rooftop swimming pool. Right opposite the cathedral so location hard to beat.

Well worth the price! I would stay again.

Fabulous hotel in the most magical location - our room had a balcony looking out on to the Giralda! Wonderful (though very pricey) rooftop bar with incredible views over Seville. A perfect combination offering all the luxury of a large international hotel yet with the friendliness and personal attention of a family-run B & B.

This was a very nice hotel. The common areas are tastefully furnished as are the rooms. The rooftop pool offers a pleasant way to recharge after seeing the sites. The cathedral is right across the square and the palace is right next to that. There are many nice restaurants and tapa bars withing a few hundred feet of the hotel. As a guest you are able to bring your our food and drinks to the rooftop terrace. This can be a nice break from eating out all the time. Be warned a coke will cost you $6.50 at their bar.

I very nice hotel perfectly situated. The top terasse is marvelous. Surprisingly quit to be in the very center of a big city.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely fantastic location. Would recommend to anybody visiting Seville!
