Donna Laura Palace Hotel Rome

"I have stayed at this hotel 5 times. The first 4 were pleasant hence my return but my last experience was so disappointing that I have decided not to return! Although I booked a double room, and indicated 2 adults would be staying in the room, I was given what was clearly a single room, hastily turned into a double by rotating the bed and squeezing another single bed beside it. The room was so cramped that I could not even open the wardrobe properly. Also, I was charged for pay-per-view TV without warning. I would have at least expected that some message would pop-up on the television to advise that the channel was a pay-per-view channel. The channel in question was a sports channel so it wasn't that obvious. I did write an e-mail to notify the management about my disappointing stay.I had hoped that they would at least apologize and give some reassurance that this would not happen again. Sadly I am still waiting for their reply (it's been 6 weeks since I wrote)." - Andras Radvanszky
