Being in the center of town was a consideration for our first visit to Athens but like all cities the center is not always the very best. Two blocks to the underground and two stops to the Acropolis made it very convenient for a quick visit. At the top of the hotel the restaurant was perfect. Reasonable food, not too expensive, and a fabulous view of the Parthenon at night. Great for a one night visit or a downtown business trip.
A nice place to spend few nights.Good service and a great 12th floor(Bar and swimming pool)with view of Acropoli.Rooms are ok and some of them spacious. Most of the staff very polite with a very few exceptions.Breakfast was rich but coffee was awfull.Location is very central but also not the best place to hang around especially at late night cause of drug dealing and homeless people.
Dorian Inn is a good hotel, but the surroundings have gone from bad but acceptable to very bad. What seems to be the local "pusher street" with 24/7 activity is next to the hotel , and armed police is plentyful in the area. Some rooms are very nice, some just OK - our had a leakage in the bathroom with water all over the floor. A big + for roof terrace with swinningpool
No tea making facilities, shower curtain. Coffee at breakfast was appalling. Otherwise not too bad.
These are the few complaints we had: More types of food in the roof bar and also better drinks. It's a nice location wasted by the lack of a good bar. Internet should have been free, Internet is very cheap these days and in most hotels and airports it is free. A heated pool would be nicer. The elevators were too small for a hotel this size. Buffet was below average. Orange juice was disgusting and I was very ill after eating from the buffet (I think it was the eggs which were not well done) which ruined a day of our holiday.
Poor breakfast!!No fresh croissants, no omelettes,
The hotel definately met our expectations. It was a quality three star hotel. Our room was on the eleventh floor and had a great view of the Accropolis. The room was spacious, facilities adequate and the staff was very accomodating and friendly.
I stayed in this hotel twice recently. The first time, my room was pretty ordinary (on the 4th floor), the second time it was excellent (on the 10th floor). The roof bar and pool area is an excellent feature of this property, as is its nearness to to the Omania Metro station. Connections to both Pireaus and the airport were therefore excellent.
Unfortunaly the hotel has just two small elevators with 400 kg of capacity each one, serving 12 floors and about 300 guests. Sometime only one works, than you can imagine what happens.
great location, good amenities, wonderful rooftop bar and pool.
very central within neasy reach of metro for airport transfers. very accommodating staff
Very nice, newly renovated room. Only negative is the location - not the very best in Athens late at nights
Perfect!
Wonderful views from rooftop swimming pool and bar. Handy for Omonia metro station.
The hotel is palced in a very central location every thing is in walking distance.. The rooms facilities are quite good and the rooms are large and clean.
Fabulous view of the Acropolis from rooftop pool and bar area. Walkable to the Acropolis and restaurant areas, but only 2 and 1 metro stops to these respectively.
A nice, clean and convenient place to stay. Great breakfast service.
Decent hotel. Good sized room with small, deep bath. Impressive breakfast. Location was good for walking to nearby attractions including the Acropolis and the Museums.
I indicated the pricing to be very good for that hotel but it was only because i got a great deal through [your website] (50% discount).
Large bedroom and balcony. Good breakfast room. Good roof bar with swimming pool plus spectacular views to Acropolis and all round (12th floor)
