"Good decent 3 1/2 Star Hotel. On the main road down from the train and bus stations, which are a 10 minute walk (too far if you are pulling a suitcase on wheels, but only Euro 5 on the meter (actually 4,30 and round up for tip) to get to the hotel. About a two block's walk to the main streets of town from the hotel.
Breakfast is very complete--you will not be disappointed. No workout room, but a very complete sauna and sunning area on the second floor (1st floor for you Europeans) with showers, etc.
Rooms are clean, bathrooms tiled and marbled, nice heaters and new large insulated windows that open two different ways. Was there in the winter--don't know about the summer." - James French

The hotel Traunpark situated in the centre of Wels - the fairground can be reached in 10 minutes' walk via town square. Currently we renovate the whole hotel - at the moment we have standard rooms with attractive rates and new business rooms with modern design. Our spacious hotel lobby lounge area has modern art on the walls which gives a wonderful atmosphere. - More detailed information with visual material can be found on our website - planned completion in October 2008. Our hotel restaurant at the moment is not open and our Wellness - with sauna, unfortunately, cannot be used. The parking in the underground garage of the construction are not affected - you can use your car as usual for the special tariff!
