The place was quaint, within 100m walking distance of the thermal pools. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was neat, but felt cramped. The bed was very big for such a small room. If we hadn't had 4 pieces of luggage it may have not been so cramped. We had a spa suite, with a shower in the spa that was wall mounted hand held. The breakfast was added in, which was a great bonus. The shared kitchen dining area was well furbished and comfortable. Great value for the price we paid.
I thought the facilities were looking tired, smelt mustey and carpet dirty (in rooms)Showers poor
Great holiday. intend to return when possible
Loved our stay here! The hosts were very welcoming and our room was most comfortable. We enjoyed using the modern kitchen and beautiful lounge area where we could meet other travellers. Highly recommended.
Very helpful hostess, clean, quiet and convenient. Facilities were excellent.
Room a bit smallish, but service, cleanliness and location very comfortable. Right in the middle of town and very close to the entrance of the wellknown hot springs. Breakfast's self service and self preparing another plus to Drifters Inn. With thanks!
Was a very lovely place to stay and right across the road from the springs. Great location. Will stay there again
Very satisfied, would stay again.
We stayed in a Drifters Inn Spa Room and found it very comfortable and a great location in town, just a very short walk to all food outlets, visitor centre and woodland walks. We will be returning to stay at the Drifters when visiting Hamner again. Management were very friendly and helpful and so to were the staff.
we enjoyed every moment of our time in hanmer, and loved staying in Drifters Inn. Thank you so much, we will be back!
For the dollars spent, I am sure there would have been other accommodation in Hanmer that was more comfortable. The room was so tiny, and very very noisy from street noise. Although we were given fresh towels, there was no room service during that day. The ensuite was the smallest I have ever had! Would not return.
Although not an overly big room(with spa suite)the communal lounge and kitchen made up for it. Excellent service from the staff, and a nice breakfast was included.
Staff were exceptionally welcoming, helpful, friendly and courteous. Their internal lounge area is luxurious, warm and extremely inviting. I intend & have already started recommending this business to my many work colleagues, for the best & most convenient accommodation to stay at whilst at the very beautiful Hanmer Springs.
One of the best and most beautiful places that we have stayed at. We wished we could of stayed longer as it was a great place.
Not your typical hotel or motel concept but excellent nevertheless. Rooms are well equipped but very small however location, owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Loved the lounge area and the roaring open fire in the evening. Would definitlely stay again.
Excellent concept to provide guests with a large lounge and use of a commercial kitchen to cook your own evening meal or civilise a takeaway. Excellent position for the hot springs and the village. Rooms comfortable even the smaller rooms. Service excellent friendly but not fussy. We would certainly make a return visit.
Lovely friendly helpful staff. Great locality. Room was clean but very hot and stuffy. Would be great to see ceiling fans or air conditioning!! Would stay there again.
Loved it
We were extremely pleased with the King Studio unit we had
Excellent Motel opposite Hot Pools. Didn't have bar or restaurant open, but lots of other venues in small town. Highly recommended and price very good
