"We stayed at the Du Theatre Hotel for one weekend. It's a 5-10 minutes walk to Lafayette and another 10-15 minutes to Montmartre in the other direction. The street is very quiet, the owner(s) of the hotel are very friendly and there is a concierge all night. The rooms are good, small but comfortable with bath & shower. You'll also find good restaurants -reasonably priced all around the area. It's definately a hotel for me to remember next time I'm in Paris for the weekend." - Juliette Boers
"Small rooms, but comfortable. Helpful staff, and a nice breakfast. Street traffic can be a problem at times, but that can be a problem in many cities." - Ian Holden
"I was in a room tucked away at the back of the hotel in the sub basement. The bath was filthy and there was a half used bar of soap left courtesy of the previous occupant. The room was dark and depressing. The only saving grace is that it is close to the magnificent shops, Galleries Lafyette and Printemp" - Anonymous
"During our stay here a couple of small problems cropped up (eg tap in wash basin was faulty, no pillowcase provided for one pillow). Although we reported them, nothing was done to resolve the issues. Only small problems though, overall the hotel was comfortable and charming in decor, the breakfast room and service was awesome and the staff friendly. The location was great, a short walk to shopping and a brisk walk to the heart of the city. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Paris." - Carole Taylor
