Very amazing grounds, in a week I never saw it all. Close to beach, lots of activities, very cool pool bar. Only real drawback is the 1000 Baht fee to bring in a guest, which other hotels don't have.
My stay was one of the best time I have had in a long time. Your a 5 min walk from the beach and shopping. Your staff was very helpful and friendly and I look forward to my next visit at the Duangjitt.
The Resort was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. Restaurants were good as was the food. Surprisingly not a lot of Thai food. Kids club area was excellent. The downside is that this resort and most of Phuket have been swamped by Russians giving the place a real lack of atmosphere. It didn't matter what time of day it was, 7am or 7pm someone would be smoking a cigar in the restaurant while you were eating. Also, for some reason you were not allowed in any of the 3 pools after 6pm no matter what the temperature. To sum up, a beautiful place that has been spoiled and unfortunately I wouldn't go back.
Excellent all aound except for the food. Hotel management should think seriously of raising the bar a few feet for the level of food served. The current food quality is not acceptable for a 4-5 start hotel. we had to skip breakfast a few times and eat out during lunchs and dinners.
This resort was in a good location at the end of Patong beach. A short walk to everything. The staff were great and very helpful. The food at the restaurant was great !!
The good: the place is very quiet and its nice to wake up to the birds singing. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice. The pool is excellent. The buffet breakfast is pretty good with a decent variety for all tastes. There is a travel office on site to book tours. The bad: the main pool was closed for renovations when we stayed there. The smaller pool is nice but with only one pool open it was crowded. The rooms are very basic with few amenities found at other hotels in the same price range (I.E. robes, slippers, extra pillows, etc). The ugly: our air-conditioning was not working. It was only blowing out warm air even with the setting on 10C. We had to change rooms twice before getting a room with only so-so AC at best. The hotel really does need to replace the AC compressor. if you are hot by nature or don't do well in the hot temps of Thailand you have been warned.
